butters
My favorite bag is the Ogio silencer. No club chatter and pretty much snag free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk rlpolo
heavygolffeels
Could never not use a 14 way bag. I need a separate slot for each club, so it has a nice comfy home. And I feel like there is less bag chatter. And a oversize putter well is necessary. aerospace_ray
With a stand bag I like a well designed 4 or 5 way top. Mostly Ping bags over the years. I go through phases where organization or being picky with club selection becomes the norm. With good 4/5 way top style bag I can add those golf club clips and arrange them like I want so my clubs are in a particular order. One stand bag I have my eye on based on reviews is the Vessel 14 way divider stand bag. It looks nice and appears to be designed well regarding divider/bottom area is large enough clubs don't tangle. With cart bag I absolutely have to have the 14 way top with full length dividers and good putter section for oversize putter grip.
zengineer
14 clubs, 14 holes...easiest math problem ever. Josh Parker
Josh Parker
I have a 14 way carry bag and a 6 way cart bag currently. I liked my old 15 way because it had a dedicated putter spot outside the bag which made it nice for larger putters. GolfSpy_APH
14 way bags are best imo, however I love my Forum Jones bag which is a 4 way. I don't love the organization and would love a bit more space, but it does the job and looks great so I don't mind the slightly lacking functionality. GolfSpy_SHARK
Back to 14 way for me the past few years. MidwestExpress
IMO, 14 way is best. Keeps everything separate and keeps your clubs looking best for longer. Then again, I used my last set for 16 years and I want stuff to no look beat up just from travel. Using 4 or 3 way bags just beat your clubs up too much. People that use 4&3 way bags, I think are planning to swap out sets every couple of years. I makes for a neater look and a bit easier to find what I want but they are still next to each other. Like most I cover my woods, hybrids and putter since they usually have a painted or somewhat fragile finish, but the irons are naked and how long I plan to keep them never enters my mind. Pooter McGavin
14 way on a push cart. If I am carrying it, a 2 or 3 way classic bag. Josh Parker
MN_Hacker
I use a Datrek 14-way with Top Lok on my BagBoy Nitron for league, and a Callaway Hyperlite (4-way) for trips to the range/simulator. I prefer the 14-way on the course as there's a lot less clanking of the clubs while walking. I prefer the 4-way for 7-8 clubs at the range though. Then, to change it up, sometimes I'll use a Ping Moonlight with a 2-way top carrying 6-7 clubs for a quick early morning nine at my lake place. Options are good.
