B_R_A_D_Y
I need to measure the lie angle of my putter but there isn't a shop in the valley with a loft & lie machine. What do y'all think about this method? cnosil and Kenny B 2 Quote TSi3 #1-3-5 all with Tensi Blue S-flex 2019 Apex Pro black 3 & 4H Catalyst 70 or TSi3 #2-3 depending on how I’m playing. cnosil
As long as you have the putter soled correctly it should work as long as the side of your phone is flat B_R_A_D_Y 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

B_R_A_D_Y
It's called iMetalBox and it has 12 tools, of which protractor in one. U get some functions free, but for the protractor I had to pay $.99 to get it to provide readout in degrees ... instead of the free version which reads Radians. fixyurdivot 1 Quote TSi3 #1-3-5 all with Tensi Blue S-flex 2019 Apex Pro black 3 & 4H Catalyst 70 or TSi3 #2-3 depending on how I’m playing. revkev
That's pretty cool - I just went to my fitter and he measured mine when I had him regrip my other clubs - but that is one sweet little tool. Very creative. I've seen other blogs and info about using this as a way to measure club lie angle. The trick (as mentioned) is assuring the sole is in the correct position. What I would suggest is having the putter checked at a shop and see how it compares. Also, have you just checked its accuracy against a 90 degree square?
