albatrossman
I have not much time to practice and also some back issues, so I cannot hit many balls or spend much time on my short game. Any tips on how to make the most out of max 1hr practice sessions twice a week? cksurfdude, Rob Person and ZJeb67 3 Quote Taylormade M6 Driver 9° Taylormade M6 3 wood 15° Taylormade Sim 2 Hybrid 18° Srixon ZTX 3-PW Vokey 52° & 58°

GolfSpy_APH
identify weaknesses and start with those. I would do 40 minutes on the areas I want to or need to improve and then 20 minutes on my strengths to make sure they stay as such. cnosil, ZJeb67, Rob Person and 1 other 4 Quote as of Nov 6, 2023 (Past WITB) Driver: Paradym TD w/ GD ADDI 6X Driver Shootout! Rob Person
Welcome to the site! When I only have a little time to practice (which is almost never enough time) I will pick up one set of clubs from each category. Today maybe I will use the driver and woods/Hybrids and focus on that. Next time will be long irons or short irons or wedges. Like was mentioned, pick what you feel needs the most attention, amd focus on those things. cksurfdude and ZJeb67 2 Quote WITB-Foremost 551's - 3w, 5w, 5-SW (circa 1998), Top Flite 460cc Driver, Adam's 7w, Warrior GW and 60⁰, Odyssey AI-One DB putter. Standard Disclaimer: I am not a golf instructor and I don't play one on TV. So for me and where I can benefit, I find a bunch of ways to practice, especially short game .. at home, including things like... setting up a net in the garage and spending more time hitting wedges .. working on different distances, different trajectories (LM not required); setting up a putting mat in the basement and working on stroke mechanics and speed control drills for 3-5 footers and 8 footers (length of the mat); swinging Orange Whip and tempo trainers .. tho perceived as full swing can also be used for pitching and chipping movements; occasionally taking Birdie Ball practice balls and hula hoops for targets into the backyard on a nice day; doing slow motion swings, focusing on movement patterns and -not- hitting a ball. For my back (had issues before taking up golf), I've been... seeing both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist regularly .. and have really noticed improvement; have been doing yoga at home fairly regularly (highly recommended). Of course everyone's different in what does, or doesn't, help them... @albatrossman hope you find a good program that works for you! cnosil, Dead Solid Bogey and Rob Person 1 2 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ...
