silver & black
I have the opposite problem. I have a pin head. Every hat I wear has to be adjusted to almost as small as it will go. It looks ridiculous. Therefore, I dislike hats. Unfortunately, I'm follically challenged so, going hatless on a golf course is a no no. Those of you with 'normal' size noggins are blessed. No specific brand, but when I find a hat that fits. I buy it. I find more flat brimmed hats fit... any free hat, I give away, will never fit. I wish I liked flat brimmed hats since there are some nice ones that I've found but overall they just aren't my style. Hugemidget
Most hats just arent deep enough. I found the Puma ones to work great for my mellon. I now have 6 of them in different colors. Give them a run, the've worked great for me. Shifty and MNBogies
hckymeyer
Just saw the Under Armor hat that Spieth wore the last 2 tournaments. They make it all the way up to size XXL, unfortunately they are sold out until July but I'm keeping my eye on it. Give them a run, the've worked great for me. I’ll keep my eye out for those as well! I unfortunately think I have a big & tall head if I find a hat that fits ok size wise, it usually not tall enough. If I find a hat that’s tall enough, it’s pretty tight on my head. Maybe it’s because of this thread but it seems like more companies are starting to offer the larger sized hats.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Driver: 849D 10.5* Hybrid: 939x 21* Irons: 699 Pro (5i-AW) Wedge: JB Full Groove 56* Putter: 004 Mallet

BillyClyde
The Imperial XL210P has worked well for my 7 3/4" melon. Ahead also has an XL fit that I've found in several clubs that is a great fit. MNBogies
Member of the big head gang checking in. Travis Mathew hats fit me really well both in the snapback and fitted.I’ll have to look a little harder on their site or just order one to see how they fit. I like the look of their hats but the one I actually clicked on only went up to XL which is on the smaller side for me. It would fit but it’s more of a tight fit than a regular.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Driver: 849D 10.5* Hybrid: 939x 21* Irons: 699 Pro (5i-AW) Wedge: JB Full Groove 56* Putter: 004 Mallet
1wayjeong
My head size is around ~ the 95th percentile, so finding a good-fitting, nice-looking hat has always been a challenge for me, and I have never been a fan of wearing any type of hat all my life for that reason. Any hat with one-size-fits-all sizing and straps in the back made my face look bigger and unbalanced overall (It is true that your face looks bigger if you wear a tight, short hat.). But then, I started looking into them after starting golf last year (because no one wants skin cancers, right?), and the only hat that works for my big head is the Titleist Tour Elite hat. They come in different fitted sizes (XS/S, S/M, etc.), and I tried them and found the L/XL size looks perfect and comfortable. I purchased them in different colors for different types of weather (White is good for sunny days and darker ones for cooler days)—I can easily say I am a fan of wearing hats and I wear them even if I am not golfing. Definitely try them! RetiredBoomer
What I hate is that modern cars have high head restraints that don't let you wear a hat. You can wear a cap with no problem, but you can't wear a dress hat with a brim. I have beautiful Borsalino fedoras from Italy that are supposed to make me look like Don Corleone when I'm all dressed up, but I can't even wear them while I'm driving. I wish that I could afford to fully restore a vintage Cadillac or Lincoln so that I could at least drive around looking like a gentleman. Its the Pro Shop for Me
On 3/21/2024 at 2:25 PM, MNBogies said: Ill definitely check out Puma as well! All of my snapback hats are on the 2nd to last snap and that's solely because having it on that last, single snap does absolutely nothing and usually unsnaps and looks weird. So I've stuck with the 2 snaps but at that point they look smaller on me and are a tighter fit. I almost exclusively wear Puma hats, but only the “P” hats with the FlexFit110 sweat bands. I have a dozen or so of them. The TaylorMade Tour Radar and Imperial XL Fit are also pretty good if you want a lower profile hat. For reference I wear a size 8 fitted cap.
