Rico_de_Gallo
Any insight on a cheap ball that is good on distance? (the MGS ball test doesn't always provide price points) I am just concerned on distance ... spin into and around the green wouldn't concern me (i.e. a good ball to use during a scramble when I have to be "the distance guy" off the tee Cheers Quote Love some good Breakfast Tacos and Biscuits Driver: 0311BlackOps Wood: 0311 Gen 6, 3 wood and 5 wood Irons: 0311P Gen6, 4 iron - Gap Wedge Wedges: Sugar Daddy II, 52* and 56* Putter: Battle Ready II, Bat Attack Ball: TP5x Technology: and 2024 Caddy Daddy Claw Glove Test
Albatross Leather
It would be based off of you club head speed. If it is sub 105 on average you need a softer ball for distance. It's all about compression, so it depends on your swing. I am a big fan of Vice balls, and they have a fitting tool on their website that might be worth checking out. The price points and performance have been great. Personally I'm in the 110-115 range so I use the Pro-plus and that works really well for me distance wise. Also, I haven't tried them yet, but Maxfli just came out with a tour ball that has been picking up traction lately as being a really good ball.
