Good morning all, finally a sunny day here at the outer banks, playing nags head golf course Tuesday and Thursday. The wind has finally backed off  it was a steady 30 mph. Hit them well everyone. 

I had a real up and down round today, with some very ugly shots, but a number of good ones. The one I'll remember is a par 3, I tugged my approach and was a little past the pin in the left rough. I had a great lie. It was slightly downhill, slightly left to right, and 42 feet, but I set up to it just knowing everything was right for a good shot. I can't be so arrogant as to say I was expecting to make it, but I was certain of an up and down. Having it go in was a nice bonus.

I hear you, I lost my wedge cover when we were in Augusta last year. I am very careful about where I put them now. Thanks 

Played with the “new swing” my buddy showed me yesterday. While it’s still a far cry from being “there”, it hit some reallllly nice shots today. Hard to get used to hitting a nice draw, as I’m having a tough time aiming out to the right. I had a few yanks with the driver, but then hit some nice recovery shots. Really chunked one drive, but then hit the best 5-wood ever into the green to save par. Chunked another on a par 5, but then hit a smoked 7-wood to save par again.
then had 3 birdies, and -2 (on the back 9) going into 18. Then promptly topped my drive into the drink for a solid double, for a final total of 75, instead of the 73 I should have scored.
almost eagled the #1 hdcp hole after a crushed drive and a very toasty 9-iron…
