Awesome! I’m a 3 month old here. It’s been great because MGS encourages us to branch out. I bought some new equipment based off of MGS reviews this year and am not disappointed. I’ve reviewed a few things as well and it’s been an experience. IMO reviewing equipment forces me to have an open mind. So I bought some irons from New Level golf and other less known equipment. Did tons of research on other DTC golf equipment companies and learned a lot. I’m getting a little long winded so I’ll end by saying “Welcome and happy birdie hunting”!

Got home from playing yesterday and there was a box on my porch. I was pretty excited, thinking maybe the Edel shipped and I didn’t get a notification.
Nope. It’s my birthday present. Alas.
On the plus side, while I didn’t play well yesterday, I had 1.04 SG on putting. If the Edel can help me improve that (or at least help me make my normal putting around that level), it might make up for my abysmal approach game. 🤞

Hey guys! I'm new around here. I signed up several years back, but never really dove into the community. 
Truth be told, I got caught up in another forum and spent an enormous amount of time and energy over there, until I got tired of the cult like mindset (heaven forbid you like a company that isn't a sponsor 😂 ) and never made it back over here. anyway, I've always enjoyed reading the tests/articles over here so I thought Id try to dive into the forum.

Thanks for the replies. Still making up my mind but seeing it on the few I got makes you second guess getting 4 dozen. But good to hear others not seeing it. 
This is what I saw as well. I don’t think any I saw were that big though. 

This is a great opportunity. Thanks to Bridgestone and MGS staff. I am going to have to think about this a bit. I have hit the BX in the SIM and it right there with my current and other balls so I am interested in it. But haven't really had interest in the Mindset part and that seems to be the focus on this one. Though since I am a mental case maybe I should be 🤣. But still interested if it works for others.

check out that video at the 4:33 mark. for me, adjusting the position of my eyes to get the coins to line up was an absolute game changer as far as aiming. I have to line up with my eyes passed the ball to make that work, and now I don’t even think about aiming, since I can actually see the line correctly while in a putting stance. also, i did some research and found that many right eye dominant golfers can aim a dot better than a line, so I got a dot on my df2.1, and i’ve never looked back.
as to whether you should pull the trigger on the df3… no equipment recommendation is going to be fool proof, but this is as close as it gets. for me, traditional putters are like the brakes on classic cars, and lab putters are like antilock brakes. there are certainly classic car aficionados out there, and more power to them, but i’m more comfortable driving my family around in a vehicle with antilock breaks, because they work better every time. 

Got 18 off this morning before golf duties in the afternoon.  Our 4th no showed due to his lady boss rules, but we expected that. For sake of time, we played best ball the whole round. Gave away my TM burner 2.0 to a friend yesterday,  and man can he crack that driver!  Just glad someone can hit it, because it sure wasn't me! He's 6'5" and has a massively steep downswing. But it works for him, very well! He was pushing 230-250 yard bombs +rollout all day! 
Back to the round, out of the 3 of us, the other 2 drivers were mostly taken due to distance. (I only average 225-230) I held the green on a number of approach shots,  10 of the 18, to be exact. Again, between the 3 of us, no 3 putts. Putt of the day went to me, a double-breaker uphill then downhill for a 18' birdie. Had it missed, it would have been only a foot pass the hole. GiR 16, FiR 13, finished the round in 3h38m.

That was pretty tragic to see on the community call today! I let out an audible gasp as you were showing it to everyone! Goes to show that this is a REAL life test where $h!t happens. Now you have a customer service angle to the test that other testers don't have.
Happy you found a backup driver in the LTDx LS. I'm currently testing/gaming the LTDx with the blue smoke shaft and it's been working nicely for me!

My Ventus Blue 6S in my Aerojet LS was a whopper combo on Tuesday. I was also playing the new Taylormade TP5 that I got samples of so going to play my Z Star 💎 during tomorrow’s round to see how my numbers compare. Hoping my long drives were more driver/shaft related than ball.
