  1. I've been playing them exclusively for the past 3-4 years? They are just that much cheaper without compromising on performance... and I just lose balls like an idiot A lot of people talk about durability and scuffing in their older iterations, but I honestly never had any issues with that. Maybe I just lost the balls before I damaged them?
  2. Same! I only play rounds during weekends, but they are competitive rounds... lol
  3. I give you 5 stars for this detailed post Seriously, one would think that there is nothing else to add to "how are testers chosen", but here comes a new thread with more details, new info, freshly updated for 2022. Good stuff, Jamie! Now... 2 more months for golf season to begin?

    Cooking

What a coincidence. I did pork belly as well... that skin is just... godly... air fryer for the win!
  5. I have 2 kids, too. And time is just too valuable for me to spend on the range. Unless there is something I really need fixing or losing too many balls, I'll spend every chance I get on a course.
  6. And here I am... hitting balls from an old piece of carpet, trying to land it inside the kid's trampoline
  7. Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! But it was one of the worst birthdays ever... I got my booster jab a couple of days before my birthday and for some reason I caught the flu at the same time, so flu symptoms + vaccine symptoms packed together... knocked me out for 3-4 days. So not only didn't I get to celebrate, I spent 4 days isolated in my room to avoid infecting the kids. My wife has been sleeping on the couch since
  8. I have the same battery swapping system from Landroid. Weed whacker, blower, robot, trimmer, power drill, etc... All use the same... But I guess without grass, there is no need
  9. @yungkorylol i guess i missed the thread for about half a year... but did you decide on the mowing robot?
  10. I think I've gotten 1 battery from them replaced... no issues whatsoever and the range finder is still going strong...
  11. Congrats! Look forward to more golf in 2022!
  12. The car has a function where you can set your departure time, let's say every day 8am. So when plugged in, it will start warming up the interior and the battery around 7:40 so when you drive off, you don't waste battery heating up the car and a warm battery will have a longer range than a cold one.
  13. I did a comparison between driving off with and without pre-conditioning and it certainly takes a hit (usually 100km per charge, now in winter only 70km) As a matter of fact, I think electric driving with 0C temps it's just not effective... might as well go with petrol during winter.
  14. I just picked my my GLE Coupe hybrid yesterday. It was a smooth ride home with summer tires in snow and icy weather. I'll be swapping the winter tires on Monday. The sales guy did recommend using the pre-conditioning function before leaving. Let the car warm up the interior and the battery while it's still plugged in the garage. Saves you battery power on the road and increases battery range as well.
  15. I'll usually go for stock grips when buying clubs. If I have to replace them, whatever is on sale, but usually score a deal on GP MCC. I stay away from Winn on irons/woods, my hands are rough and the grips barely make it through their 1st season. For putters they are alright. Only heard good things about Iomic, but never tried them myself.
  16. I'm picking up my GLE Coupe Hybrid next week... so excited! And while installing the wallbox in my garage, the guy told me it was just a few bucks more for a wallbox with 2 chargers, so why not? So what do I do after having 2 chargers? That's right, I'm selling my Mazda CX-5 and getting an Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback. This one will be used mainly to go to work, so just charging every couple of weeks at home will suffice. Look at this beauty! Throw the kids in the GLE and this will be my "bachelor" ride lol
  17. +1 major for the reasons stated above.
  18. Damn, that was a stomping... One thing I need to point out was how Spieth, Xander, Scottie, Collin simmered down the crowd on different holes so their opponents could play in silence. That's commendable sportsmanship and it gets you respects from fans of both teams!
  19. Me three I mean... Europe is taking the cup home... so let the Mystery Box stay in the US
  20. Leona MVP... so very well deserved... she just roflstomped over everybody...
