  1. My dad took me out on a Saturday morning to small par 3 course. I walked along with him and my uncle. On the 9th hole he gave me a club, I hit it, and instantly fell in love. I was probably 10 at the time. My only regret is that we didn't get one last round in before he passed.
  2. Looks good, nice design... always love seeing different types of ballmarkers
  3. A little late to posting this... but I've got 2 rounds in the books with it...
  4. The score didn't indicate that I played any better than I have all year, but my ball striking was very solid. 2 terrible chips and a blowup hole derailed an otherwise good round. For the first time this season my irons and wedge shots from the fairway felt good. Also hit what may be the longest drive of my life leaving myself a little 7 iron into a par 5. Hoping this is a turning point.
  5. I'm not sure how being anti-racism is political? But if that's something you're going to complain about I'll gladly hit the mute button
  6. There is a drop down in the upper right hand corner by your username. Select account settings... in there you will find the signature section.
  7. Played 18 on Saturday and the struggle has continued with everything but the driver. I think I missed 4 fairways but only hit 3 GIR. It felt like I was either making par or double. Very frustrating.
  8. In for another year... No doubt, I am ready to be hurt again
  9. It's tough to choose between driver and putter, but at the moment I'd say driver. It's by far the most consistent club in my bag.
  10. I used mine for the first time on Saturday. It's not likely going to beat out my gamer, but I never thought it would. I feel like I struggled getting balls to the hole, like I couldn't hit them hard enough. That may have something to do with it being an insert putter as opposed to solid. I'm planning on bagging it on Tuesday for league play to give it another go. Cosmetically, the shiny cavity graphic/ medallion would reflect in the sun and I saw "Kirkland" on the flange, which didn't bother me but would bother others. Also, the weights got grass stained during my round, and I'm not really sure how. It doesn't effect performance in any way, but I found it weird. As previously stated, the headcover isn't a great fit. Overall, it's a solid putter, and if I wanted to dedicate some serious time I could see gaming, but I'll be sticking with my Cameron and will keep this one around for kicks. I'd like to get my hands on a weight kit and play around with different combinations to see if that will change the feel.
  11. I'm actually a big fan of playing 9... it doesn't feel like it takes all day and my wife doesn't get as annoyed
  12. This is the exact problem I'm having ATM and also due to weight loss... for me it's irons and wedges
  13. 2-3 gloves Pair of Rain Gloves Umbrella & Rain Hood Tees & Balls 2 ballmarkers, divot tool Wrench Snacks/ drinks
  14. I have an extensive shoe collection... so that's where my non-golf money is spent
  15. I donated last week... can I get a tag?
  16. I received mine yesterday. I got one with a crooked grip. Regardless, I rolled some putts with it. I like it. I'll be keeping it.
  17. I chose Fowler because he sells to the younger generation. Rory doesn't seem to have a lot of personality. TW has done a lot of things that I don't agree with and never will agree with, so he's out. Phil has some off course baggage and I don't find him to be all that relateable.
  18. The local Munies have been pretty good at making sure everything is spaced out. Supreme Court just lifted as restrictions, I'm not going to get into that. But, it has cleared the course out a little bit which I enjoy. Monday I was able to use the range and keep my distance. The course wasn't extremely busy, but it seemed to be getting back to normal.
  19. Mine is set to arrive within the next hour or two. Very jealous you were able to get a weight kit.
  20. They've also been spotted at Costco... not sure what this does to effect price. I had a terrible experience with their customer service however, and will not buy them even though it is now more convenient
  21. I don't know what the tech is but I play Grip Masters and can confirm that they work best in wet or humid conditions. I rub my grips with a wet towel before I start my round and don't need a glove. They are incredible.
  22. Played league last night. I've been struggling with my irons and wedges so far this season and it didn't get any better. I only missed 2 fairways... but didn't hit a single green, and in most cases, I wasn't even close.
  23. Custom paint looks great. I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on one
  24. Mine is set to arrive Tuesday (fingers crossed) and I should be able to take it out immediately for league play. I'm pretty sure the weight kit will be online only, so you'll have to keep checking. If I see something I'll let you know.
