I just received my Titleist T300 irons this week. I ordered them on January 8th. Over 4 months. I hoped they would throw in a dozen ProV’s for the ridiculous wait time! But no!

Well, I’m 61 and recovering from a quintuple heart bypass I had in June. Shocker as I am very active and play golf everyday. Anyway, while healing, I decided to spend some money (the old adage you can’t take it with you!). Keeping my Ping G400 driver and TEE EXS 3-wood. Just bought the 2 & 3 Titleist TS2 hybrids (loved my old 915H’s) and ordered some Ping i210 irons (5-UW) with AWT 2.0 shafts. My Vokey SM7 wedges and my Evnroll ER-1 putter are staying in the bag. Still have another 3 weeks before I can hit balls. Very excited to try out my new toys. Good health and happiness to all!

What?
10shot is talking about the newly released, and quickly refunded ball.
Many of us got balls that had little to no issues. I'll certainly be playing my 2 dozen, if a few groove cuts are all I have to worry about, then I am happy.

Totally different ball. Refunds are due to the ball cutting excessively. Stay away

Traded in my Cobra F9 3&4 hybrids for some Callaway Rogue hybrids. Much more forgiving, easier to elevate, and better distance. Firing at pins now! Not a big Callaway fan but these are money!

My Cobra F9 hybrids are extremely accurate, forgiving, and have a great feel. Like them better than my Titleist hybrids

What ball would you play if you were in the 90 mph range with a driver?
I swing about 90 mph and the Snell MTB X is the longest ball for me. I’ve played the Black for years and love that ball, but the MTB X is even better. Good luck!

Snell MTB Black. Going to try Snell MTB X this year. But for me, nothing is better than Snell. It’s very similar to the ProV1, but almost $20 a dozen cheaper!

I always carry toothpicks in my Xikar travel humidor that I keep in my golf bag. Helps with hard draw smokes! You can try to open up the cap more or stick a skewer down the center of the cigar to try to open it up. Sux when you get a dud!

I'm a member at Tidewater. You will not be disappointed! Great layout, excellent conditions, beautiful views. One of the best tracks down here. I live in Calabash and play many of the courses. Tidewater is one of my favorites! Also heard from the pro at Wild Wing that World Tour and some other top courses are having issues with greens right now

The Pearl is a dirt track now, and Heather Glens closed at the end of 2017. I live in Calabash. Many lost greens due to winter. Avoid The Pearl, Sandpiper, Sea Trails, and Thistle. Crow Creek redid their greens last year and is in top shape. Farmstead is also in good shape. I'm a member at Farmstead, Tidewater, and The Glens .... all great right now!If it is still there (I know MB has had a few courses close over the years) but the Pearl is a gorgeous couple of courses up in North MB, close to Calabash- I believe there are two there, and both are brilliant. The heather's, as already noted, and Shaftesbury Glen is also very nice if you are a fan of A. W. Tillinghast design courses (Bethpage Black, Wingedfoot and Firestone, to name just a few). Dont forget to have a nice steak dinner at Chucks steakhouse, on the main road in north MB.

I live down here. Tidewater is in excellent shape and a great track. Glen Dornoch and Shaftesbury Glen are also really good courses in great shape. Aberdeen is in great shape and not that expensive. Tradition, Prestick and Arrowhead are also great tracks in really good shape. Can't go wrong with any of The Founders courses.

Snell doesn't make the MTB Black in yellow. How did you manage that??Pulled the trigger on the test pack of Snell MTB red, and MYB black. Both in yellow. Yes. Yellow. I really like the MTB but I really don't play white balls much anymore. Now the yellow. That will be awesome. Saves me some money too.

Not getting along with my Ping G400 SFT 3-wood at all. You can't really go after it off the deck as it's inconsistent. My Titleist 915F is a monster off the tee but hard to hit off the fairway. Hope the F8 3/4 fairway fits my needs for a consistently long wood off the deck

Tried 2 dozen each of the Tour and Tour X. Really like both balls but like the X slightly better. Just went through a couple dozen of the new Srixon Z-Stars, also really nice. But for me, I always go back to Snell. Play both the Black and MTB X, depending on the weather and green conditions. They’re really great balls IMHO!
