This winter was my first with a Pro-Putt + True Strike custom setup in the garage. Worked great.

I go back and forth which probably says more about golf game than the ball. I do like the spin on the X, but whatever I gain with my Irons regarding stopping I lose with my drives so I usually stick the black.

That’s the plan. The owner is a good guy and I understand the financial restraints he is under.

There's a garbage can off of the 9th tee at my course, and I have found 3 broken drivers in there this last year. After I brought the third one to the clubhouse, the guy asked me why I keep bringing them up there. 😂
I keep thinking they might have a change of heart, I guess.

Somehow on the 18th hole of a downtrodden public course near Boston, I lost, dropped, or misplaced my month old Scotty putter last Sunday. I must have hit a few practice chips since it was almost dark out and forgot to grab my putter. Didn't realize it wasn't in my bag until my next round on Wednesday. Called them on Wednesday and they said no one had turned anything in. Called again over the weekend, spoke to the same guy and still nothing. At this point I figured someone had picked it up and kept it. So I looked on eBay and marketplace, specifically for my college head cover that I had on it since it is fairly cool and unique.  No luck.
Called one more time today, and the nice old gentleman on the phone asked me few questions and said yes we have it. Come pick it up as soon as possible, things have a habit of disappearing.  I was there thirty minutes later and was reunited with my putter. Not sure why it took so long to get turned in, but very appreciative that I was able to get it back!

Walked a round recently after riding all summer. It felt great and I played well. As the days get shorter its worth playing a late 9 and enjoying the course and the walk.

Will still be remote in November so decided to go to Florida for a month and stay with family.  Since my golf season will be extended an extra month, decided I needed to get fitted for some new clubs and ordered a few new wedges (MD5s) a new driver (Mavrik) and a new putter (square back 2) to keep me busy.

    Hey,
I have been playing golf for about 8 years on and off. When I was in college I took advantage of having a great course I could play for cheap, but after graduation did not have the time to play more than once or twice a year.  However, the past year or so I have really recommitted to the game and try to get more consistent. Already through 8 rounds this year dropped my average score by about 8 strokes. Working on shaving that down over the summer and getting a legitimate handicap.
I am in law school in Massachusetts, but from NJ and living in NJ this summer. I mainly play on courses by the Jersey shore.  Excited to keep getting better and getting more consistent.
