Do you think Snell would ever sell to Taylormade? I'm sure if the price is right... Dean could have a great payday. Taylormade would have the sub-premium (DTC) corner of the market.

I'm finishing Coyne's latest book currently and I am really enjoying it. Although I have never played in Ireland or Scotland, his sentiment about American golf really resonated with me (too private etc.). BUT He was successful in taking me on a journey to become more appreciative and proud of American golf.
Who else has read it? What are your thoughts? Favorite course he highlights? What did he leave off?

I know MGS says tech significant tech improves every 4 or 5 years. Makes sense to me to but realistically when do you all upgrade drivers?
I have had my setup for 3 years but got fit in the middle of taking lessons and my swing has much improved. Although I hit it fine and relatively accurate, at what point would you say it's time to see if a different setup would be produce better results?

Tips for a first timer - First time playing fantasy golf; I've been keeping up with this thread but I wanted to see if anyone had any tips before the season starts. Ultimately, I know there is a lot of luck involved (starting the right person at the right time) but is there anything that you do weekly that helps your team?

I'm looking forward to the upcoming draft!

The best tip I can give is to make sure you have a full starting 5 every week. With 34 matchups a bad week or two can be fatal. With 10 guys on your roster there should always be wiggle room to drop someone to pick up someone playing.

Do your best to make sure you have 5 guys starting each week. It won't always be easy or possible, but gives you your best shot at scoring points. Outside of that I always like to roster guys I enjoy watching or cheering for.

It was a fun day. This was the first time since my baby girl was born that I felt like I knew what I was doing on the course. My confidence is much better as I step up to hit a shot. Too many compounding mistakes, doubles that should have been bogeys. Missed short putts. Short irons just aren't as sharp (When I'm <150 to the pin, it should be an easy GIR and hopefully within 30 ft). I'm sniffing low 80s just gotta find time for practice whenever possible.
Also, shoutout to my sister, started playing more seriously 3 years ago, takes lessons, got fit for clubs and almost broke 100 today. She smashes her TSi3 driver straight and long. Her short game and course management is the only thing holding her back. Shout out to all the girls/women on the course! This is a sport for everyone.

Got to play a round with @TBS and his sister. Very enjoyable for a 65 degree day on December 28. Can’t beat that.
I have been struggling a little bit off the tee with some hooks, but am showing improvements with that. Everything else is keeping my score respectable.
Hole of the day was the par 3 8th hole. Downhill over water, 165 yard shot playing 135 yds downwind. @TBS goes first and puts it to 15 ft above the hole tracking the whole way. Jokingly, I say I can get closer. Clip a perfect PW and lands 8-10 ft above the hole. Both great shots and we both sank the putts for birdie. Always a good feeling to see the group sink birdies on the same hole.
