Welcome to Testers Wanted where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

The PuttOUT Devil Ball is unlike any other golf ball. On second thought, scratch that. It isn’t a golf ball (or at least not by traditional definition). The Devil Ball has a unique design where one side of the ball has a straight edge. PuttOUT even puts a disclaimer on the packaging: “Devil Ball has been created as a putting training aid and should not be used with any other golf club!” You’ve been warned.

The purpose of the Devil Ball is simple: to provide feedback on your putter’s face angle at impact.

Because data-driven objective testing is what we do, we need some of you to assess and report back to us at MyGolfSpy.

We are looking for 4 Testers anywhere in the world!

New to the forum?

Want to increase your chances of being selected for testing? Here is a link to a guide which lays it all out for you and will allow you to know exactly how, why and who we select for testing here: How To Become A Tester!

Congrats to our testers:

Hahaha this is perfect, all this Devil Ball stuff came out the week after I bought my PuttOut Premium Pressure Putt Trainer.  Would be great to put it to the test using the BirdieBall PuttUP mat using the L.A.B Golf DF 2.1 (dare to dream!)

Put me in Coach!!! ⛳

I already purchased the Devil Balls. They are great at letting you know how you are delivering the putter face. It is also an accurate way to find out how much toe hang you need in your stroke.

Very interesting looking product. I remember my coach having us putt all manner of things that were designed to assess face angle at impact (markers were my favorite). PuttOut has some great products, and this seems to fit a need that very few are addressing.

This would be easier than doing the tee gate drill and other things to check path. Toss them down and go. If something makes practicing easier with good feedback, I'm all for it and would love to try it.

I'd say my putting is "ok" for the level of player I am, but could certainly use improvement.  Like to get my average closer to ~32-34 instead of 39.  I think a big part of this is that though I think I know my line, I have no clue if my face angle and putter swing path are working together, or if I'm just luckier rather than any good!

I’m guessing I don’t have much hope of being chosen as I’ve only just found out about MGS today and haven’t made any posts yet.

It does look like a really interesting training aid though and one I’m keen to try out.

I would love to be chosen for this but if not hopefully Santa can come through with this one for me instead!

I would love to try these out. I already use my putt out mat and accessories regularly and would love to have more feedback to help me get rid of my left pull in my putting stroke. 🤞

Welcome to the forum Linda!   I very much resemble that "left pull" remark!! haha.  Good luck and I hope to see you across all our forum threads.

Welcome to the forum BCases!   When the testers are selected, and the testing thread is opened, I would love to see your "unofficial" comments since you have the equipment and have been using it!  Looking forward to seeing more posts from you!!

I've never participated in any of the product testing on this site, but this one seems intriguing. If you're still looking for testers, I'm interested.

Would love to give this a go! Putting's one of the stronger parts of my game but it would definitely be interesting to see if I'm contacting the ball square

Hi, thanks for reaching out and offering to help!
Is there a certain structure that needs to be followed for unofficial tests?
I just bought a new putter on black friday so I could try to make a review on that after I've played with it for a couple of weeks.

Would be awesome to use this and test with my putter that's fitted with a stability shaft. Putting could always use some work to improve.
