W.J Bosley
Ok guys I am looking for players to participate in a small intial Test Pilot project here in the forum to get as much feedback as possible on my existing designs to help shape my next series of design updates. I am currently trialling product around the world and the process can be a bit of fun plus there will be some interesting proptotype testing later in the year where you will see some of the results being dialled into these newer designs. So the criteria is players that are happy to talk about how the balls play for them no matter the results any feedback is good feedback. The current lineup does not include a urethane Tour type ball so if this is an issue please let me know up front. Please send me a PM after posting here and I will get more info to those players looking to support this project. Cheers, Boz. W.J Bosley
Thanks for the notes so far and I will get PM's to everyone shortly. I am looking to keep the group open till Sunday and then I will look to pass on all the info for the post out. Now remember guys I haven't got a Tour ball at the moment and I see a lot of single figure players so please understand I am happy to have you on board but you know what I will be showing you might be more interesting from a fresh style view point than out and out performance, But just so you are up todate with my R&D projects, I have a small batch of prototype TV -One balls coming to me this week to analyse how the new cover material works inconjunction with our mid compression 4 piece structure. Addicted2Golf
Boz, you already know I'm in. Unlike some boards (which I won't mention by name), not everyone here shoots in the 70's and bombs 300 yard drives. On MGS, I think you'll find we have a fair number of mid to high handicap players who are fairly pragmatic about their games. W.J Bosley
Thanks B, as I know my limits and have been making sure since I started this business not to go beyond my limits in terms of performance levels. As player expectations can be easily deflated and that is not going to help me in the longer term. So like all things in life I like to tell it as it is. Part of my approach is to get better players to understand my designs so that when higher handicapped friends / family etc,, ask about balls that will help them I hope my designs will be in the mix as I don't know of any other brand that wants to talk about Game Improvement ball designs that are a reality. So I am happy to share with players that are open minded to a bit change in style for practical reasons. Cheers, Boz. PS you gear is coming direct from me and will be there by Friday (I hope) Vision Golf Ball Concepts & Designs by The Atanak Co Australia (1980 - 2016)

Talk more soon, Boz. Boz, not all of us in the 70s play tour balls. Since we dont all play bomb and gouge courses, and can often play pitch and run shots at the greens, I often foresake the ProV-1 genre for an NXT Tour (or equivalent) for accuracy on the long shots. Also, since many of us play the muny/public course circuit, I am sure I am not alone this summer in noting that spin is not necessarily useful at times. My Friday league plays on a course constructed over shale and clay. The greens hold very well at 10 or 11 am. Come 5-6 pm, I have hit three-quarter wedges that do NOT make a ballmark. W.J Bosley
Hi P, great that is why I am showing my hand in the States now as I have a good feeling about how things will be received as spin is but one part of the equation. The thing you may see with the current balls is that they have a drop and controlled release performance that might be an interesting change in format. Cheers, Boz. I've always hit it 300yds; it's taken me a helluva lot of work to shoot in the 70's. Follow @GolfspyBones
hendricks97
I hit the 70s once a while ago, but I had a bad back, my knee was aching, I was dehydrated, and I was playing 9 holes. W.J Bosley
Sounds good and I am happy to have all types of players as my group here in Oz includes low singles all the way through to newbies. I just didn't want any players to be disapointed in my lack of ProV1/Penta high wedge spin as that has not been a focus of my designs so far. The players that need more help with their game out number the better players by atleast 10 to 1 and those regular players are happier to try something new from my experience that is a not a TOUR VALIDATED product. From all my time working with Titleist/Footjoy/Pinnacle here in Oz ( 20 years Distributor / 24 years International Leadership team ) I believe there can be a new improved more personnal way to market to regular retail players, which is why I am here today as your opinion is actually the most important part of my business future. W.J Bosley
Good question, the way I am looking at it I will try and get each player a mix of all the current 6 designs that way you get to see everything I have out to date as a story and will therefore have a better understanding I where I am heading next. They might not be right for each team member but I know you will all have partners or buddies that might be a better suit for some of the balls and that feedback will be welcome. JBones
I'm all about testing some golf balls, but man, I really want to get my hands on one of those gloves. Can you give us some info on the glove? I love the look of it; it also looks pretty sticky and like it would dry out quickly. Thanks. Follow @GolfspyBones
W.J Bosley
The Vision Sticky Glove is setup using some materials that are currently very popular in Japan. The front section is quite stretchy and has a forgiving fit plus it allows alot of your perspiration moisture to be wicked away and for improved evaporation rather than soaking it up. They have had a lot of testing in North Queensland where it is really hot and sticky conditions and the gloves have come through quite well I think for my first version. I believe this type of glove will help many recreational players that get sore hands from gripping too tight and from the poor fit of many gloves and their seam positions plus many older players have found they help them with their lack of hand strength in the club control area. Still more testing to do and I know its been hot over your way so lets see how they go. Cheers, Boz. JBones
I've been looking for a glove exactly like you are describing. It was 99* with 80% humidity today and I went through 3 gloves, because they were all soaked. Follow @GolfspyBones
