And so it went, shot an even par 70, but disclaimer-from the whites... 3 birds 3 bogies First bogie was on a par 5. Greenside bunker in 2. Deep fried egg. Got out tho, then 3 putted. Dumb. Lots of good drives, and greens in regulation. Lots of close putts just missing birdies, a few fell. The Ping G400 LST is the real deal guys, in case you're wondering. 240-280 all day. And the best part is that even on the misses, the ball was still long and in the middle. I've never been in the middle so many times. Long soaring tee shots. It's really good The Titleist AP2's on the Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw's In a word, wow! I was a little nervous after hearing a few thoughts from a few of you guys, but the shafts were exceptional. The irons went pretty well exactly the same distance as my old clubs, but the ball flight and height were amazing. And the spin was phenomenal. No blowouts and over running the greens ever. Everything stuck with the exception of one Gap wedge, that I spun about 25' back from 115. But it was quite soft, and downhill, so understandable. But the height of all the irons was amazing. I mean they were going into orbit, and then just staying put. Simply lovely sticks. And they were also quite a bit more forgiving than I ever thought possible. I honestly had no idea a set of irons could be so dramatically good. Oh, and the vokey with the matching shafts were si ply and utterly fantastic as well. The shafts were also so smooth and easy on my elbows too- No shock at all, and made the ap2's Feel very buttery Finally the putter, the Tommy, It's just delightful- no need to go on about that- there's a reason it tied for first against all the $350 putters. It's money Oh, the Sun Mountain C-130 cart bag. Worked great. I mean I'm not sure what all one needs to say about a cart bag. It's just nice. Final analysis on the new bag- Two thumbs up. I honestly never thought new stix would be so fantastic. Couldn't be more thrilled. Cheers! 808nation Posted May 10, 2018 Share Posted May 10, 2018 Congratulations on a great round, sounds like you had a blast I have the same iron shafts as you do with mid size GP Mcc+4 grips, they're a tad on the heavier side than I am usually used to so I will be switching out the midsize grips and getting the mcc+4 with standard plus 2 wraps. When you live in a cave and swing 20 year old blades, well maybe not that old, but- Getting some new tech, some tungsten, and some shafts, it's absolutely mind blowing.
