Wedgie
I’m curious who you would take in a nine hole, low ball tournament knowing nothing other than handicaps of the teams. Also give me a reason why if possible. Team 1 - combined 19.4 handicap, player 1 is a 10.4 player 2 is a 9 Team 2 - combined 19.5 handicap, player 1 is 18.6 and player 2 is 0.9. Thanks EDIT: scoring is low net Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy Wedgie Driver - XXIO X Driver 9.5 - Launcher Turbo 2 hybrid - F9 One Length 3-L - ER 1.2 Top Flite Gamer Play Right

Mr. 82
in low net I would always bet against a scratch golfer, or borderline scratch golfer, versus two 10's. The two 10's can shoot in the low to mid 70's, whereas with a net score, that 0.9 is gonna need to shoot 68 or better in every round to have a chance. CarlH
Low net, I like team 1. The 9 and 10 are going to pick up more net birdies and better than the 0.9 will. Now, the 2 higher handicaps can be a good pick if they're the type high handicapper that has a lot of pars but a few big holes driving their handicap up....or they're sandbaggers Driver: Rogue ST Max (10.5* set at -1 and neutral) -- Mitsubishi Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Fairway: Rogue ST Max 3 wood (16.5*) and Heaven Wood (20*)-- Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Hybrids: Rogue ST Max 5H (23*)--Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Irons: Apex CF19 6-9, PW, AW -- KBS Tour Graphite TGI 70 shafts R +1/2 inch 3* upright Wedges: Edison 53* and 57* KBS PGI 80 Graphite +1/2 inch 2* upright Putter: L.A.B. The 1 won't throw away holes against a couple 10s and the 19 gets a stroke a hole. Deadly match play combo. In better ball stroke the pair of 10s for sure. DaveP043
I'd pick Team 2, for both net match or net stroke play. The 18 will make his fair share of per-net-birdies, along with some doubles or more, the 0.9 will make a few birdies and very few bogeys. The evenly matched pair is more likely to duplicate scores on a hole, both good and bad. http://popeofslope.com/guidelines/picking.html Irons Titleist T200, AMT Red stiff Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X T22 54 and 58 wedges 7-wood 5-wood B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia
Kor.A.Door
Team 1 with 2 -10’s would most likely have a better chance for par net birdies, and that is what wins. Lefties are always in their Right Mind

Wedgie
Well we are going to find out who is right Saturday morning. I’m on team 1 and after reviewing the pairings it looks like the 0.9 is playing from the tees in front of us so he is shaving about 280 yards off the 9 holes. Pfft....Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy Wedgie Driver - XXIO X Driver 9.5 - Launcher Turbo 2 hybrid - F9 One Length 3-L - ER 1.2 Top Flite Gamer Play Right
Kor.A.Door
Par net birdie, or bogey net par. I like your chances. Just don’t think about it too much. Play your game. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
Wedgie
Okay, the 9 and the 10 beat the crap out of the 1 and 18. The 18 was out of every hole but one. The 1 was in every hole but giving up strokes he couldn’t keep up. We won our flight, made it to a shootout where 11 teams played alternate shot from number 10. My partner tees off, tops it 60 yards into the junk. Lost ball, I have to tee up for our 3rd and we never had a chance. Fun winning the flight but sucked being out of the playoff after one shot.Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy Wedgie Driver - XXIO X Driver 9.5 - Launcher Turbo 2 hybrid - F9 One Length 3-L - ER 1.2 Top Flite Gamer Play Right
