Shankster
Thanks Berg. They aren't as bad as the look in the pictures, but I still can't stand them. The went from about a 1 to a 1.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Believe it or not the first thing I noticed was that the number was on the wrong side of the Taylormade logo. Then I saw those X’s or whatever they are suppose to be.
GB13
Just now, Shankster said: Believe it or not the first thing I noticed was that the number was on the wrong side of the Taylormade logo. Then I saw those X’s or whatever they are suppose to be. I didn't see that at first, but now that I do see it, they are back to 1. That would drive me insane. And, being someone who lines up the ball to putt, those X's would mess up my concentration. I only like focus on the line I draw, and nothing else. 21dylan
The truvis ball from callaway is a ball meant to give people a visual. Some say it helps with hand eye coordination to help keep their eye on the ball but many people says it hurts their putting due to the shapes all over the ball. I have been playing the truvis and like it as a cold weather ball but as a fix to the putting aspect I use a bold black sharpie to make a line on the ball. This makes it easier to concentrate on the line when you are putting on the green.
GC70
Easy to find off the fairway, but way too busy for me on the greens. Markelly82
I bought a sleeve my last time out. I am not a huge fan of the color orange on the ball, but I like the concept. I also understand it's a little like the Callaway Truvis. During my putting stroke, I try and stare at the back of the ball. Having the X near the back of the line really helps me concentrate on the spot. This is just my opinion obviously. To each their own. Quote Driver: G410 LST, 10.5 *. Mmdanz
I bought a box and really liked playing with them. I don't use a line for my putts though. I like the spin feedback on greenside shots, you can see what the ball is doing, and I think it is good for practice. same with putting, you get a nice visual from an end over end roll, and a squirrely roll is easy to see.
