This press release deserves it's own thread if for no other reason, it's the first announcement of a "new" product since the Pandemic Shutdown 6 weeks ago.  Possible signs that the major OEM's are getting back to work!

GOLFERS CAN SELECT FROM FOUR DIFFERENT FINISHES INCLUDING COBALT NICKEL, CHROME, BLACK AND RAW

 

Cobalt Nickel: Exclusive to MyMG2, the Nickel finish provides a premium look and reduces glare at address.

Chrome: The classic look of a chrome finish preferred by many golfers.

Black: A darker, aggressive styling with a non-glare look at address.

RAW Finish: This is an un-plated wedge that will rust – giving it the worn, rustic look preferred by many Tour athletes (extent and speed of rusting may vary).

Custom stamping options include personalized text and initials, as well as dozens of images. Golfers choose from 13 different paint fills and complete the package by selecting the grip and shaft of their choice. Beyond personalized aesthetics, golfers can build the wedge to their precise specs by customizing loft, lie, length and grip size.

These are good wedges! They came-in second in my wedge fitting, but if I’m going to pay $225/wedge, I’m going to buy my Vega wedges again. I’ve had my Edel wedges stamped and personalized, but I probably wouldn’t do it again with any wedges I buy in the future.. This is pretty cool for people to have the option of doing, though! Big OEMs taking away some of the market the little guys have specialized in.

I'm probably in the minority but I'm not really into the stamping or personalized wedges.  Nothing against it, it's just nothing that really appeals  to me visually.

It’s a cool idea. I really like the four finish options more than anything. $225 for a wedge isn’t obnoxious when you consider a stock price of a Vokey or Cleveland.

Nice to see them stepping up in the customization game. They lost something in wedges from the time the first atv wedges game out until the first milled grind and imo are a close second to vokeys. Now offering customization helps out them in that same realm

I'm probably in the minority but I'm not really into the stamping or personalized wedges.  Nothing against it, it's just nothing that really appeals  to me visually.    

I am in the same group as well. Heck, I am a putter junkie and don’t like personalized stamping
