ShotScope Pro LX

anybody have any experience with the new ShotScope range finder/GPS/shot tracker all in one?

On shorter distances say 50 yds. in where you typically would not use a LRF, will you have to detach it to sense the club If so that could be an convivence issue - say CP only days where you might want to leave the LRF in the cart and take several clubs - couple of wedges and a putter. 

Guess I'm kind of stuck on the V3. I do use it in conjunction with my LRF.

Really like the V3 and am wondering if it wouldn't have been possible to basically take the straps off the V3, let that mount on the range finder then you can put them on the RF if you prefer or where it as a watch. I know they tage differently but tapping to the watch it not too dissimilar. Maybe the slightly larger H4 has a bit more accurate GPS, but feels like a good place for overlap personally.

The receiver for the tags is in the band on the watch, not the under the screen.

Well there it is learn something new every day, must be how they got it to be so flat on the V3

I would guess the GPS portion is what has the sensor for tagging.  Since it is r,I able you could leave the larger LRF in your cart and clip the GPS portion to your belt or pocket.
