Dennis K
I received Red Rooster rain gloves for Christmas. Been researching the gloves and noticed they have subscription service. Wondering if anyone else has had experience with Red Rooster. I use Titleist Perma Soft gloves which I really like but if I can save a few bucks and not have much a performance difference I would make the change. Btw, I am looking at the Red Rooster Silkie which looks like very similar to the Titleist Perma Soft. CarlH
I'm using the Red Rooster gloves and have the subscription service. Not sure that you're saving much money with them over other premium gloves, but they are VERY nice gloves. The fit is spot on for me (XL), fitting much better than Titleist Players gloves or some others that I've used in the past. The gloves wear well and, so far, have lasted quite a long time. I play 3-4 times a week. I do store the glove in a box after play that keeps them lasting longer and not getting hardened like when you just hang your sweaty glove off the side of your bag or wad it up in a pocket. Anyway, with regard to the subscription, I have it set to 1/month, but I've suspended the subscription last month and may again this month. Thinking of just changing it to 2 gloves every 3 months. You can always add gloves (or accessories) to you scheduled order or you can skip the month as needed. Convenience is the biggest advantage, as I always have a spare or 2 handy. I think the model that I'm using is the Feather. I bought my wife a red glove and red storage box for her birthday (coming up Friday). Looks like a nice storage box and the red glove is better bold (but I have heard that it may stain your hands if you're a sweater). Tom the Golf Nut
I just ordered and received two pair of "The Cape" model that was a most wanted glove by MSG. I haven't tried them yet, but they look, fit, and feel great. I'm looking forward to putting them through their paces. I did not sign up for the auto ship service yet. I want to see how they perform first. DaveP043
In early 2021 I was given one of these to review (though a rival golf forum), when they were still in their Kickstarter phase. I thought the glove was solid, well made, reasonable durability, good fit, but the prices I see now aren't particularly low. I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid these, now would I recommend them as a great improvement over any other decent glove. AzRoger
The best deal I've found for golf gloves are the ones sold at Costco, 4-pack of leather golf gloves for ~$22 in store. They are very comfortable, fit and wear well, used to be Callaway brand but now come with the Kirkland emblem.
