PXG 0311 Gen6 Drivers

Another new driver launch! As a 0211 owner I am curious how these will be and certainly will be on the lookout for a demo day close by.

What do you all think? Are you a fan of PXG clubs and their drivers? Where does this rank on your must test list?

As I posted in the equipment your thinking about: I admit that I am a PXG fan. Especially, because of the Hero’s Program. I just purchased the Gen 6 0311 Driver, 9 degree neutral setup. Cut to 45 1/4, in the project x hzrdus black Gen 4 60 stiff 6.0 shaft. Put the golf pride multi compound plus 4 grip on it. With the hero’s program and custom fit came to 459. Not a bad price for this driver. Can’t wait to get it in the bag.

I do have Gen 5 irons and a 3 wood that were purchased a few months ago, so won’t be looking to upgrade those clubs. However, I still have Gen 3 hybrids and would love to see data or test those clubs. Since I love the ones I have, I have not even thought of upgrading. I carry three hybrids 17, 22 and 25 degrees.

I have been very pleased with my clubs over the years. The only area I would like to see improvement is in the wedges. I would like to see more grind and bounce offerings. Wedges are not a one size fits all. Especially if you play different conditions or turf. Just my two cents.

If I dive again it will be to have my ashes shot out of a torpedo tube lol. They dont even have Quartermasters anymore

The guys over at Tour Experience Golf just posted a video on YouTube about the new PXG woods and had good things to say about the driver.
