Plan for the Spring

Hey all!  Sorry I've been so absent for a while (job stuff), but with springtime approaching, I'm making plans for the season.  The local course I like has early membership openings, and I'd love to do that, but that probably means I'll have to quit the Golf Channel Tour.  Money and time restrictions.  I love the competition of the GC AM Tour, and the guys are great, but I really like the idea of playing a little closer, and with a larger group.

Is it possible to do both? Maybe just a few CG am events at courses you really want to play at. That's what I did last year, but I didn't have a club membership anywhere either.
