Thanks for sharing. I am The Green Fee. I saw this on the USGA list a couple of weeks ago. I posted the original article then I found the driver on the Callaway Japan website. Like I said in my article the use of Carbon Fiber is interesting for sure. Callaway has been known to release midcycle light weight drivers

  2. Hey guys. My local PGA SS has Scor " wedges" for 30 bucks each. They are most lofts between 41 and like 45 for sure I think I saw a few 47s. If you play these lofts let me know I can go take alook and see what they have this weekend. My thought is even if they have the wrong shaft you can use them as heads only and when your currents wear down just change the shafts. I wont try to make any money off them just actual cost (Tax) plus actual shipping. If you want to save some money on shipping Ill pull the heads for 5 bucks extra

  3. Wow! You got some of my hometown brew.....Stagg Jr......distilled in Frankfort Ky at Buffalo Trace.

I love pretty much anything Buffalo Trace puts out. Its a dang good thing I dont live in KY.

  4. May have talked myself out of the Steelhead 3 wood. Put it head to head with my driver. Both were going the same distance. They also had similar numbers. The 3+ was actually shorter than the 3. I think the lighter 3 wood shaft helped in this case. I wonder if i put the 3 wood shaft in the 3+ if it would help

  5. I was selected for one of the "Big" tests before and recently got picked to do a putter test. Im super excited. I may not have 2000 posts or anything crazy but I do participate. I like this place more than others. There isnt an air of cockiness. I also only really apply to things id be interested in.  Its an honor ot be chosen. It also isnt an easy job. It requires a ton of research, trial and error, on course testing etc. I also cant  trust my scores those few weeks I am testing. I put new irons into play and my scores were off for a few weeks. Its cool you get to keep it and us eit if you like it. It sounds free and technically it is, but it does require a lot of time. When I got chosen for irons I also went to the range more and played more golf. that required some extra money in greens fees etc. I am not complaining at all but these are things to think about.

That being said I was actually very disappointed with my last review. I could have had better pictures. i could have described the feelings I got better. I dont know. This one will be better.

  6. Well, I found three Martini tees recently, now I have been using them and they are great for drives! If you tilt the tee towards the fairway you are guaranteed to get longer drives.......at least about an inch longer!....LOL

Thats gotta be the difference between a 6 and a 7 iron into the green.

  7. I went and played wednesday. Got off to a terribly slow start. Shot 46 on the front. On the back I had 4 holes dead into the 20 MPH wind. Ended up shooting 41 on the back. Was keeping the ball in play. Lately driver is my killer. It was frustrating to have a 5 shot difference front to back
