What would it take for MGS to test and review them?

Golfworks doesn't play the internet review games. Their emphasis is on proper fitting, and unless they are willing to donate several different sets with different shafts, then the reviews would not be representative. For a small volume company, that is a significant expenditure. Some do it, some don't. GW's business is doing just fine, so those reviews are not a need for them these days.

  3. $105 shipped CONUS.

Includes full weight kit and wrench, headcover, ball marker. I could also send the personal thank you card from Sub70, a really nice touch but if your name is not Steve then it might not make sense.

  4. After a shocking increase in non-paying Ebay auction winners, I think it is time for me to forget Ebay. If anyone wants more pictures, just PM me with your e-mail address.

Wishon 775hs 2 and 4 hybrids. Both for $100 shipped CONUS.

    2h (18*) and 4h (24*), both have Matrix Ozik 7F stiff shafts.

2h is 42” long and in great shape.

4h is 40.25” long and in ok shape. No damage, just the normal Wishon less than stellar paint job which starts to disappear in the paint fill locations and edges.

New Level M Series Wedges. 50/54/58. All 3 for $180 shipped CONUS.

Penley IMS graphite shafts, 5.5 flex. 35.5” length.

*SOLD* PXG 0811XF Gen 2 driver head (9*) with headcover and tool. $140 shipped CONUS.

    Very good condition.

*SOLD* Maltby STi2 irons, 4-pw, gw.  $240 shipped CONUS.

4-pw,gw. Aldila NV85 stiff graphite shafts. Very good condition. Lofts 1* strong. Lies standard. Lengths: PW and GW 36”, then ½” increases up to a 39” 4i.

    Swingweights D2.

*SOLD* Maltby M+ Wedges, 56 and 62. Both for $50 shipped CONUS.

56 is the tour sole and in very good condition. Cleveland Traxion wedge shaft (no band)

62 is the wide sole. It has been used quite a bit, but still in good shape with no nicks or dings. Has an FST HiRev wedge shaft.

*SOLD* New Level 902 forged irons 4-pw.  $440 shipped CONUS.

4-pw. Penley IMS graphite shafts (105 gram). 4i-9i have 6.0 flex, PW has 5.5 flex. Lamkin Crossline Plus Wrap grips. Clubs have been played 4 rounds, with 4 range trips. Headcovers always used, so they are in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I have discovered that I don’t have the SS for these shafts which play quite stiff.

    Standard loft & lie.

    Lengths: PW 36”, 9i 36.25”, 8i 36.5”, 7i 37”, 6i 37.5”, 5i 38”, 4i 38.5”.

I didn't know the Xcaliber lineup had grown. Can you comment further? Is there a thread for this?

I don't know a lot. Xcaliber was down for a while but recently came back with the new lines (Mystic, Avalon, Rapid Taper). The Rapid Taper has really gotten a lot of buzz. I will say the new line is a lot better looking than the old line. I love the Avalon 5.

There are quite a few threads here and on Golfwrx. Popeye64 works closely with Xcaliber, he is a great source of information.

  6. I bought the TSL and the Avalon 5 to give me two different options, one low launch and one higher. I found the TSL to be too low launch for me, which is shocking for a 50 gram shaft. I've tried lots of 50-60 gram shafts, and the TSL is the first one that I have found to be really low launching. So I can't really compare it to anything, as I haven't had one like it.

Being a tip stiff model, it doesn't feel as good as the Avalon. But the TSL does what it advertises.

  7. New Level 902 irons. $535 shipped CONUS.

4-pw. And 50* M wedge. Penley IMS graphite shafts (105 gram). 4i-9i have 6.0 flex, PW and 50 have 5.5 flex. Lamkin Crossline Plus Wrap grips.

Clubs have been played 4 rounds, with 4 range trips. Headcovers always used, so they are in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I have discovered that I don’t have the SS for these shafts which play very stiff.

    Lengths (the way I measure it anyway) 50* 35.75”, PW 36”, 9i 36.25”, 8i 36.5”, 7i 37”, 6i 37.5”, 5i 38”, 4i 38.5”. Swingweights D1 in long irons to D3 in short irons.

  8. The times could be different depending on the type of epoxy used and the thickness of the hosels. But it would be hard for the untrained eye to tell when too much is too much. Post some pics of the tip here and I am sure those of us who have destroyed a few over the years would be glad to voice our opinions.
