The course is the same for everyone. They never have to deal with what one of us does on a Muni, that's for dog gone certain.

True some get rough real quick. Forgotten ball marks and unrepaired divots.

Though the course was very green in all the promos

Makes sense. Especially with these guys attacking flags through similar venues

About five years ago went on a golf trip up to Wisconsin and I believe this was The Bull At Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls, WI. Pretty sweet Nicklaus track. Anyway, Here's everyone in my groups approach shots on a par four hole. Funny thing is everyone had different yardages coming in and we were all on different sides of the fairway/rough.image.jpgimage.jpg

Even funnier that nobody made the birdie putt!

Woods, fowler group playing combined for over +20. Tigers 3 wood looked like my swing.

The amateur Brian Campbell still at -4 is looking good!

Extremely interesting course to host the Open.  Kind of links style but with massive elevation changes.  Perhaps it will give our lads a leg up when playing the other Open.

Overall, I gotta give some love to Fox. The broadcast was interesting and entertaining.

BTW, am I seeing multiple holes on the greens?

15yo cole hammer was +7

Osthuizen-woods-Fowler combined +28

Work of the course getting harder in the evening or that group falling apart?

Not taking anything away from mr.hammer. I'm sure he would smoke me anyday of the week.

No kidding, I'm sitting on 34 points right now with my starters. But I could have had 72 if I would have started a couple guys on my bench.  I sat Stenson, DJ, Jason Day and Reed...ouch.

Of course now that I've swapped those guys in McIlroy, Phil, Spieth and Moore are going to go low tomorrow.

Our teams are set up similar my this week. Sat reed, DJ and day. Btw I played Fowler..... Damn

Best comment I've heard in this broadcast just happened and came from Woods. "At least I kicked Rickies butt today"

Love it!!

I'm rooting for my boy Riley Davis! Kid from an hour and a half south of me. Gonna be a senior in HS next year and going to Alabama after that. Going to be a stud. Started with a triple today and still only +2 for the round so far. Hope he does well

I am glad I don't have to play this course tomorrow.

Sh!t sign me up! I'm more than happy to put up an 85 in the open. I'd be playing golf on TV!

Even playing to a 2 handicap like you I feel I'd be so nervous with that many people around me that I'd shoot 100...on live TV.

I have been looking forward to this tournament for some time. I am intrigued by the course and look forward to watching how the pros play it. Should be a great weekend of golf!

Wow Dusty J starting off strong. Maybe it is his time to win a major. Makes me think back to '10 PGA at Whistling Straights where he grounded his club. Hopefully he doesn't have any of those blunders here.

I'm a .2 right now just never change it on my profile. And I play much better with people watching, I love pressure situations. In the words of Burt Reynolds, "I'm gonna do what I do best. Show off!" haha

Well, I watched, in my opinion, an extremely interesting, if not boring first day of the 2015 U.S. Open. Phil finally played a good first round, Jordan played his usual steady self, Rory looked disgusted, Dustin bombed it off the tee, Tiger sadly looked like a 12 handicapper, and Sergio did his usual whining. I'll watch it sporadically tomorrow and try not to yawn.

Sentiment has me rooting for Mickelson. Sense has me picking Spieth and his terrific pitching and putting.
