808nation
When I moved here from Hawaii about 6 years ago, my first 2 years were okay and then my 3rd year in NJ I started getting allergies from pollen. This stuff is really terrible I tell you. Running, itchy nose and red blood shot eyes...oh boy. Now I've learned to sort of control them by taking otc allergy medicine and even tried acupuncture which did crap. What have you done or taken to cope with allergies and weaken its effects, please share your secrets? Shankster
I lived in Virginia for 2 years. The pollen dang near killed me. Tried numerous scripts from the doc, ended up taking Claritin with the best results. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
CSM S
I have lived in NC for over 14 years now and the pollen still kills me. Growing up in the west I never had to deal with this stuff. As was mentioned earlier, Claritin seems to be the best for me as well. I just count down the days till the bad stuff has passed so I can again enjoy the outdoors like I usually do. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy V/r Tony S.

Golfspy_CG2
Intersting timing. I have never had allegies. Then about a month ago I was knocked on my butt, by a cough, watery eyes and runny nose. I just assume it was the "crug" that was going around. After not feeling better for 4 days I went to the Dr. She said it was Seasonal Allergies. I told her I have never had allegies in my life. She said a a lot of people in this area are going through the same thing. She said a part of it was the unseasonably warm winter we had in Maryland. It didn't get cold enough to kill some of the allergants in the air. I don't know if that's true or just sounds good. But after two days of takimg Zyrtec and Flonaise, I was back up and running. Kor.A.Door
After moving to SC a few years back the allergy season is brutal, it starts in mid February and ends in may sometime, you have to wash the car many times as it forms this yellow film on it every day. I take an otc allergy pill everyday, it's the only way to cope. Some days are worse than others. If it gets really bad I just stay indoors. Except Saturday, that's golf day. I don't care if my eyes are swollen shut, line me up boys I'll give it a whack. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
MDGolfHacker
As everyone has said, I take zirtec or Claritin daily. Costco sells their version of these two in bulk so I just buy that. Jmikecpa
March 1 to May 15 I keep Allegra in a apex dispenser. Allergies hit me hard when I turned 13 and have not slowed down. Did the shot treatment twice in my life and it never worked for me.
