ole gray
I'm thinking about picking up a few of these for summer golf. They would be nice and cool and the built in skoal pocket is killer. https://www.facebook.com/jamaica.beaches/videos/1302475256468955/ Ping G430 Max Driver 10.5 Degree Titleist TSR1 4, 5, & 6 Hybrids Titleist T350 Irons 7 - W48 Cleveland CBX ZipCore 52 56 & 60 Degree Wedges LAB Mezz Max Broomstick Putter / TPT Shaft (Platinum @ 45/78)

BIG STU
Cut off overalls man I have done that for years but not on the course. cargo shorts many folks wear them on the course especially down here. Now I know there was a lot of contriversy over on WRX on that subject over the years. Most of the regular courses have relaxed the dress codes over the years with this being a Tourist mecca so to speak. My home course surely has. Now a lot of the top tier courses have not but they will point it out beforehand. I grew up with my old man running a muni type daily fee public course where the only dress code was "Gentleman Must Wear Shirts in the Clubhouse" that was because my step Mom and 2 other ladies worked in there in the summer. Out on the course you did not even have to wear shirts Driver ---- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Speeder 565 R flex- 5W TM V-Steel Fubuki 60r--- 7W TM V-Steel UST Pro Force Gold 65R----- 9 W TM V Steel TM MAS stiff---- Irons 2015 TM TP CB Steel Fiber 95 R--- GW Callaway Mack Daddy 2 52* shaft unknown junk pile refugee. silver & black
Seriously..... what's the beef with cargo shorts. Do the extra pockets offend people on a golf course? I wear traditional flat front shorts too, but Cargos are definitely more comfortable and there is nothing about them that looks bad or tacky when paired with a nice polo. I don't get all the up tight views on "golf course" attire... at least for those of us that aren't on tour.

I'm OK with cargo shorts being worn by golfers on the course, but my personal tastes run more on the traditional side so I wear pants all the time... I don't get all the up tight views on "golf course" attire... at least for those of us that aren't on tour. I use to have several pair and I finally either gained too much weight or wore em out. With that said I have no problem wearing cargo's playing golf. There are a couple of courses around here like Athens CC that might frown on it however they would get over it. Heck back when I played golf in middle Georgia, blue jeans were the normal attire at my old stomping grounds. It was a little 18 hole county run course however I had some killer good times there! Golf is suppose to be fun and when it becomes to stuffy and up tight, I'm moving to higher ground. edit: I remember a pic was posted in a past golf forum I was a member of and the forum owner said, " OG I'm not seeing you wearing blue jeans on the golf course am I?".. I said hell yea, you got a problem with that! silver & black
I play in a league on Wednesday evenings. The course is a 1/4 mile up the road from work. Sometimes if I'm running late at work I don't have time to change. I just throw on my golf shoes and play in my work clothes. That's usually jeans and a t-shirt with cut off sleeves. I work in a shop with dirt, dust, fumes and 90* temps in the Summer. I don't wear decent clothes to work! I haven't heard any complaints in 15 years of league play. Most of the guys are working guys like me, so.................
