TinCupTampa
Question. Do we have to be able to HIT the Blades that we like? ....If not, I think the Nickent ARC's are beautiful!! Honestly... Those arc's play like a cavity... definately more forgiving than my 57's, just maybe a little harder to catch them clean.

NGage
I know a set that could be on this list: Back around '97 or '98 Tad Moore started putting out clubs on his own (his company, not part of Dunlop) and put out one of the prettiest sets of blades I've ever seen. They were high end clubs, not some of the discount store cheapos you see. They were really good lookin' clubs that were a kinda bronze-ish/copper color, and I keep my eye out for a set of them. I'd like to pick up a set on the cheap.
caddyjoe77
No love for a classic Wilson FG-17? Those are awesome. I have a pristine set except the 6 iron i plan on getting refinished some day in a satin. Also, MacGregor PMB's...and PCB's. Wow. THe irons in that listing are sweet!! caddyjoe77
I would trade just about every set I own for that set of Titleist 681's with the T 127/500 Miura forged set. I blew it about 2 years ago I missed a set almost New condition that went for under 600.00. I was out bid by a SNIPER! I cried like a little baby for two days. Tim One of my sets I wish I never sold! But at least I still have a very similar set with a few differences, color, grind and above set is Coin Forged as this is just forged but both done by Miura! Here's another beautiful simple blade. The TM set all time favorite is the coin forged CB/MB combo set. If i ever find a set i think i will buy them. I fell in love with them when i was stationed in New Jersey, ex wife had a fit when she saw them so in order to not tell her she was a biatch in the store i passed. But, i guess thats why she is my EX wife:) Quote People Sleep Peacibly in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf. -- George Orwell
GQMike
Scratch is making some damn sexy blades right now. Here's a couple tour custom irons, including Ryan Moore's. Also a fan of the Vega RAF-CM Black Satin irons.
NGage
Those scratch clubs do look good...but I don't know enough about my swing to know how, or what, version to order. I think they went the route of cheap clubs for a few years but have decided that they want to be back on the top. These blades are great step in that direction. I must hit them! JohnBarry
My question to all, someone moving from game improvement irons, like the R7s, to Forged, what is a good starting out point. NGage
My question to all, someone moving from game improvement irons, like the R7s, to Forged, what is a good starting out point. Forge, but with still some forgiveness? That's just gonna vary from person to person based on personal preferences.....just no way to really answer that. However, there are forged offerings that run the gambit from true blades to even mid-size GI sets. You really just gotta decide what you want.
