Looks like I've got some books to add to my reading list! I think I'd add Zen Golf and The Putting Prescription.

One book I would not put on the list (in its current state) is Adam Young's The Practice Manual: The Ultimate Guide for Golfers. I plan on starting a separate thread discussing that book as soon as I'm done because I'd like to hear from other members who have read it.

It's not an altogether bad book and still worth a read, but I would suggest waiting until next week for my thoughts on it (I have 6 chapters left and plan to wrap those up by Sunday night at the very latest).

I have read roughly half the books on that list.  In my opinion, some aren't worthy of being ranked in the top 50 of anything.  Two I see missing that are better than 90% of that list were...........

  • The Masters: Golf, Money and Power in Augusta Georgia ~Curt Sampson~
  • The Match: The Day The Game of Golf Changed Forever ~Mark Frost~

In my humble opinion, The Greatest Game Ever Played is not close to The Match in terms of interest, subject and quality.  The Match is the best book Mark Frost has written.  I cannot believe Hollywood hasn't come calling to make it into a movie.  I also believe A Good Walk Spoiled isn't nearly as good as Caddie For Life or Tales From Q-School."  Additionally, Slaying The Tiger by Shane Ryan is better than many of the books in this list.

I enjoyed all three non fiction Tom Coyne books:

A Course Called Scotland

A Course Called Ireland

Paper Tiger

Last of the Breed by Louis Lamore is actually a great book. I read it last month and really liked it. I like reading, but books about bowhunting are not my favorite, to be honest. I prefer reading detective, crime books, or classical literature. I'm a literature student, so classic is what I read the most often. And also, sometimes I write articles, and the last two were about archery and hunting. Although I have some experience, I had trouble, so I used some information I found online. On this source https://paperap.com/, I also read a few examples, which helped me to understand what I can write about. And in a result, I managed to finish it. Maybe, I need to read more books about bowhunting and have more practice to be more experienced.
