Cobra Head Weight

Recommended Posts

Got 'given' a shop soiled F-Max Superlite head to play around with, and decided to weigh it, and was quite disappointed in the 'super light' head.

So essentially we make a super light head by just removing the hosel!

Never seen an LTD under 200. But all the others are about par. The F-Max Superlight is all about total weight, not clubhead weight. Shaft is around 48g as is the grip. All that together comes pretty close to the advertised 287g total weight.

Super light is super stupid with no functional gain!  Total waste.  The upside, golfers are like a bass, put something shiny in front of them and they just can't help themselves!  That is why coaches say - I have the secret.  The secret is supper super shiny!!

I just pulled my LTD and weighed it, it's 204 (with the adapter screw but no adapter).
