fixyurdivot
Often regarded as the final tune up before Augusta, the tour heads north to San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open at AT&T Oaks Course. The field is lacking quite a few of the top players but still has plenty of big names in the mix. Here's a link to the field. Jordan returns to defend his title from last year which got him back into the winners circle after a bit of a dry spell. The Valero (Texas Open) is the 3rd oldest event on tour schedule - starting back in 1922. It is also the only event to still play at courses in the same city (they have used 8). I did not know that Justin Leonard is the events only 3-peat winner; 2000, 2001, and 2007. Zach Johnson is the only active player with two wins that is in the field and can match that record (he's also on my team... go ZJ ) However, while not on my FTx team, I'm actually hoping for a Fowler win as I think that will get him into the Masters and hopefully get his trajectory heading away from losing his tour card (hard to believe that's a possibility). Don't forget to make your pick for this weeks winner https://runmypools.com/JRMPNWWF. Good luck! Kenny B
I would also like to see Rickie win, but I am beginning to seriously doubt that will happen until he gets rid of that damn ball. Get back to Titleist!! I'm looking for Abraham Ancer to be in the mix on Sunday, but I think this could be a good tournament for a Jason Day return to the winner's circle. fixyurdivot 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I also hope Rickie pulls out a W (even though not on my fantasy squad). But Knox and Kuchar are on my squad and I’m loving their opening rounds so far. fixyurdivot and Kenny B 2 Quote 849D with Evenflow Riptide (stiff) V Steel 3 wood 699U 3 (19.5*) 699 (4-6) / 699 Pro (7-PW) with Tour 120 shafts (stiff) JAWS Raw (50/54/58 degrees) ER8v with Fujikura MC shaft (firm) Kirkland V3 2023 2.5+ / University of Miami Stand Bag Nitron - Forum Test Review Pro L2
