DG 105 S300 vs Nippon Modus 105 S

Recommended Posts

New level has the S300 at no up charge though, was recently fit into Modus 105 S. Just curious on the differences between the two? Ball flight, stiffness, load, etc.

so I recently switched to the 110 from the s300 and the kickpoint is by far the biggest difference.

That makes sense. I’m going to compare shafts in my new levels with S300s vs. The ZX5s and p790s with nippon 105s I have right now. Just curious what the community thinks.

So I was just fit into the 105 at a Titleist fitting over the weekend. I enjoyed the different feel of them and the lower kick point. I still have the s300 in my wedges so I gamed both shafts over the weekend. I think the Nippon was slightly more forgiving for me than the s300 but they felt very similar. I did enjoy the Nippon feel during my fitting
