ballhawk
Question for you "senior" players, so anyone with a swing speed of 90+ need not respond. What driver has any one found that gave you that extra pop? Bobbers 1 Quote Total Callaway bag - except putter Link to comment

Bossfan
I have a Tour Edge EXS 220. The ball really jumps off it. I’ve heard some good things about the Sub 70 driver. If it’s anything like the fairway wood I have the ball really comes off that well. ballhawk 1 Quote D- Tour Edge EXS 220 4W- Sub 70 949X Hybrid- Sub 70 949X Utility- Sub 70 699 U 21 degree Irons- Sub 70 749 5-PW Wedges- Sub 70 286 50+54, Tour Edge 1 out 58 degree Putter- Cleveland Huntington Beach soft # 11 Ball- Titleist Tour Soft Link to comment
Dweed
I found that extra pop by using a Ping G400 SFT. I used to use the Adams Fast 12 but switched a few years ago. I felt the difference right away. GolfSpy_APH
https://mygolfspy.com/2022-best-driver-for-low-swing-speeds/ With this looks like Stealth HD would be a top options, tsi3 and Rogue Max Draw being 2 other great options for distance. ballhawk 1 Quote as of Oct 5, 2024 (Past WITB) Driver: GT2 with Graphite Design AD CQ - check out the Driver Shootout! ballhawk
Appreciate the reply's...........I attempted to search for the question asked, but I apparently used the wrong wording, so thanks for the link to the testing review. Kind of surprised that a Wilson driver was in the mix and considered the most forgiving. Kenny B and Bobbers 2 Quote Total Callaway bag - except putter Link to comment
fozcycle
I gamed a PXG 0211 w/Evenflo Riptide CB regular shaft but since my new irons were Senior flex I decided to get a Senior shaft for my PXG. Best way was to buy from PXG Express off eBay. Found the same shaft as in my 0211 so I bought it for just over $100. It came with an 0811 XF (12*) head so I tried it out and to my surprise I liked the 0811 better than the 0211. So now I game the 0811 XF w/Evenflo Riptide CB Senior shaft. ballhawk and Rickp 2 Quote Driver: 0311 XF 10.5* w/Project X Cypher 40 gram Senior shaft or 0811 XF 12* w/Evenflo Riptide CB Senior shaft Fairways: 0211 5W & 7W w/ Evenflo Riptide CB regular shaft and Tour Edge E521 9W w/Fubuki HD50 regular shaft Hybrid: None in bag at the moment Irons: Titleist T300 5-PW w/Fubuki MV Senior graphite shafts w/Golf Pride Tour Wedges: Edison forged 49*, 53* and 57* wedges with KB PGI Senior shafts(80 grm). Kind of surprised that a Wilson driver was in the mix and considered the most forgiving. Nothing wrong with Wilson. I was using the D300 driver until a couple of years ago when I compared it to the Epic Max, Ping, and Titleist drivers. Bought the Epic Max; the Ping was a close second. Based on the recent MGS Most Wanted, I would probably give the Stealth a try now, but I like my Epic Max so I would also try the Rogue ST Max. I didn't fair well with PXG. Everyone will different things with each driver, and one will provide better performance than the others; it's up to you find the one for you. Interesting, what was the difference between them? I tried the 0211 with the 40g shaft and for me, it was just to light and I didn't see any distance improvement. In fact I actually lost a little distance. Rickp and Bobbers 2 Quote Total Callaway bag - except putter Link to comment

The 12* 0711 XF head launched higher and straighter than the 0211 10.5* pushed to 12*. The 0211 is supposed to be more forgiving but since I am now looking at 14/14 FIR I don’t see the need to put the Senior shaft into the 0211.
