MNBogies
Is anyone else in the same club I'm in where it's tough to find hats due to your large noggin? If so, what brands have you found that work for you? I have a ton of hats at home but unfortunately they don't fit right so I never wear them. I recently did buy a hat from Mammoth Headwear and that hat fits great that it got me excited to find more hats, especially with summer golf coming up. I've also seen Melin has XL sizing on select hats so I'll probably get a few from them in the future as well. tdroma98, GolfSpy_APH, IndyBonzo and 4 others 7 Quote Driver: 849D 10.5* Hybrid: 939x 21* Irons: 699 Pro (5i-AW) Wedge: JB Full Groove 56* Putter: 004 Mallet

MNBogies
That makes more sense . I was going to say, if his head is already that big at 2, I cant imagine what it would be when he gets older. If I've learned anything from my friends and their kids (mine is only 9 months so not me yet), its that kids will prefer their parents stuff over theirs (hats, food, accessories, etc). Triple_Putt
I don't think my head is too big, but... Flexfit or one size fits all hats never ever seem to fit me at all and I just end up with a headache. The only one that I can wear with any sort of comfort is my Titleist full brim hat for the super sunny days. Otherwise it needs to be adjustable and I can usually get a decent fit with most brands. GolfSpy_KFT
I by no means have a huge head, but it's also not small. With snapback caps I typically am two or three dots away from not being able to snap them at all. I got a Puma hat last year that is incredibly comfortable and also very lightweight. I'd give them a look for sure. Titleist/Footjoy hats I have had luck with as well. Not a fan of stretch/flexfit as like others said, I just end up with a headache. Much prefer snapbacks. All of my snapback hats are on the 2nd to last snap and that's solely because having it on that last, single snap does absolutely nothing and usually unsnaps and looks weird. So I've stuck with the 2 snaps but at that point they look smaller on me and are a tighter fit. IndyBonzo
My head is a size 8. Any one-size-fits-all or stretchy or snapback baseball cap won't fit, or looks like I am wearing a beanie. If I can squeeze them on they still look ridiculous. I tend to stick with visors, or paperboy caps, for these reasons. There are companies out there that make baseball style hats for larger heads. I have one and it looks pretty good. I just googled it and came up with 4-5 options straight away. hckymeyer
I'm in the same boat (and also in MN!) I bought my first Melin hat last year and it changed my life. I now have stacks of old hats I'll never wear again. And for some reason they are still sitting there I went A-game in the XL size and for the first time ever I have all but 2 of the snaps attached! I've had it for almost a year and it still looks brand new. I want to buy more, but at $70 a pop I haven't done it yet. I also had semi good luck with specifically a 110 flexfit snap back. I can get 3 snaps closed on those and since it's flexfit and snapback it's fairly comfortable. The one I got last year was Callaway branded. It was the best thing I found on a "regular" hat until I tried Melin. I know Titleist does make an XL/XXL in it's fitted hats, but they are harder to find. I've personally never tried one, but it's on my radar if I ever run in to one. New this year Taylormade is offering all (or most?) of their hats in a bigger XL size. Dan Rappaport announced it last year on the Foreplay podcast. I haven't tried any yet but I'm hopeful they may fit better. I had been eyeing Mammoth for a while, I always get their ads on instagram. But if their cost is 60-65 I think I'll just stick with Melin when I feel like splurging. Everyone bags on Melin for their cost, but if you are member of the big head club and finally find something that fits right and looks good it's worth every penny. FWIW on most normal snapbacks I'm also a 2 snaps if I'm lucky, 1 snap if I'm not on the fit. Most look like I'm trying to squeeze into a size schmedium. Since we had a pretty nice winter, did you get out to any of the courses that stayed open but are probably closed now that we got all that snow overnight? I feel like either head sizes are getting bigger, or there is just more visibility on the subject so more companies are "trying" to start to offer the larger sizes. We are probably just at the beginning of it which is why stock is hard to find or prices are so high. I like that Melin has a limited lineup now of golf oriented hats. Hopefully they can expand on it with more colors and logos. Like I said before, I really like my Mammoth hat, but for a few extra bucks there is Melin.
