PurpDaMan
I purchased the Ping i530’s! Love them. Perfect for me transitioning from the ZX4’s. I wanted a smaller head but didn’t want to give up distance. They surprisingly launch higher than the ZX4’s. ZX4 I had the Recoil 95 F4 shafts (wrong shafts for me). i530’s I now have the TT DG 115 Mid. Love the whole set up! MC3157
Was just fitted on January 2 for new Ping G430 irons. Still learning my new distances since they are much longer than my old KZG's. Up next is either a new bag or possibly getting fit for a new driver. Been looking at the Ping 430 10K which my fitter says is better than this years Cally. I think I'd like to compare them both since my current is a Cally. Whatever I do, it needs to happen soon as I'm headed to Alabama to play the RTJ trail for the 3rd year in a row. TigerPawNC
My plan for this year is iron shafts. I just do NOT know how to proceed with that. I was fitted in '19 in my Apex with Nippon 950 GH Taper Stiff at the age of 52. 5 years later .... no change, but my body seems to be telling me that perhaps I need to go to graphite. As I said, no clue what to do here. My assumption would be that it is probably time for another fitting and see what that results in. Advice or thoughts always welcomed!! Siamese Moose
I just booked a full bag fitting for next Tuesday. I'm mainly only looking for irons, but I figure on new wedges as well to get the gapping right. A "Full Bag", two session fitting costs less than separate iron and wedge fittings (and a greater amount applies to any purchase). I am happy with my woods, though I'll give him a chance to see if there's something to gain (I could use more spin on my driver - new shaft maybe?). He fit me for my hybrid last summer, so that's not changing. The putter is untouchable. cnosil 1 Quote Moose, my cat, is Siamese
MN_Hacker
I've decided that I need to finally pull the trigger on some Maltby DBM irons for my lake place bag. My son stole my Tour Edge HL4 irons, and I've wanted a set of those for years. The black finish lasts forever, and they look amazing, especially if you remove the pain fill in the sole numbers. With an assembled iron pack coming in under $400 with Recoil iron shafts, it's time to just do it. vandyland 1 Quote Paradym driver Paradym X 3HL Paradym 7w Maltby KE4 Tour TC 5 Hybrid Paradym irons 6-AW Jaws Raw 54*, 58* Versa 3T
