The price point is really attractive too, as for a much better price, you can enjoy some great clubs. 1 minute ago, GolfSpy_BNG said: I was part of the forum review which can be found below. ToastedSoul
I was looking at Takomo irons over the last couple of days, specifically the 101T's or 201's. Skill wise, the 101T is probably going to be a better fit for me, at least according to their comparison table. But maybe I am wrong? And how do I find out what kind of shaft I should select? Any advice? jbern and Rob Person 2 Quote ---

Any advice? First I would see what the shaft options are from Takomo. Then I would pay for a fitting locally to see which of those shafts is best suited for you. Doesn’t matter what the head is so much but wouldn’t hurt to try the shots with a couple different models to verify it truly is the shaft for you. Let the fitter know up front what you are trying to do and why you are there. If the head weights are different then I would say they could impact shaft performance. JAYER38
I've been very interested in Takomo clubs. Irons for sure but also there long game clubs. If I didn't already have to many drivers I would pick there's up as it seems to be "like" the PING G425 and that's my current gamer. I believe they have a trial deal? Where you can order a 7i in the spec you want and try it as 1 club just like in store stuff jbern and bama no 1 2 Quote DRIVER G425 MAX w/ Mitsubishi Tensei Orange RAW 65 S 12* *DRIVER TESTING Paradym Ai SMOKE MAX D w/ Mitsubishi Tensei Blue 65 S 10.5* WOOD STEALTH 2 Plus 3w w/ Mitsubishi Kali Red 75 S 15* HYBRID G425 2h w/ Mitsubishi Tensei Orange RAW 75 S 17* HYBRID G410 4h w/ Mitsubishi Tensei Orange 75 S 22* IRONS 919 Forged 4i-PW w/ Dynamic Gold 105 S300 WEDGES Glide Forged Pro w/ ZZ115 W 50*/58* PUTTER FRONTLINE 8.0 w/ 35" Slant neck 3*

You really want to know as much detail as possible to try to make the fitting match but you can’t be 100% on point since you don’t have the components. JCole
I was going to buy the takomo 101 but ended up getting cobra fmax 22. This is only because I got the cobras on sale at Dicks sports. If they weren’t on sale I would have ordered the Takomos they are on back order though, you will have to wait about a month or more to get them bama no 1 1 Quote Ping v2 raptor driver ray cook sr900 putter
KC Golf
As one of the 101T testers in 2023, these irons are legit and just great. Still gaming them and love these irons. Most of my friends that have grabbed it from me on the range or on the course, love the flight and feel of these irons. I have been really been impressed by these irons. In my view they are on par with other top players distance irons. sirchunksalot and ZoonORama 2 Quote TSR 3 9.0 GD Tour AD - DI 6S Stiff TSi 3 15.0 GD Tour AD - DI 6S Stiff Utility 2 Iron 18.0 - Nippon NS Pro 650GH Stiff / TS3 21 Hybrid Tensei AV Blue 65 HY Stiff 5 - 9 101T Irons - KBS Tour Lite Stiff - Official Tester 2023 Vokey SM9 46 F - 10 BV105 Vokey SM9 52 F - 12 Nippon NS Pro 950 Stiff Vokey Forged 56 M - 10 DG S200 MG3 60 - 12 - Nippon NS Modus3 Tour 105 Stiff Scotty Special Select - Squareback 2 - 35” / Super Stroke Slim 3.0 Z-Star Diamond Players 4 bag Official Tester - 2021 & Current MCC Plus 4 Sensor / Club Sensor User

Sorry for the late question but new to the forum. In terms of your question… Since none of the Testers were able to get fit last year given the timeline, Takomo’s process (being DTC), etc., we had two shaft choices KBR Tour or KBR Tour Lites. Since I have been using a lighter graphite shaft for my irons (Recoils), I opted for the Tour Lites in stiff. It’s been a great shaft for me. I should note that have a fairly smooth swing. Thought about changing the shaft post test and went to see my fitter, but opted to stay with the KBR lites after trying different shafts. After trying few shafts, I found the differences were marginal for me, so stayed with the KBRs. Why mess with something that was working well for me. Sorry it’s not more scientific than that.
