Unofficial Bridgestone Tour B RSX Mindset Review

Well after a long wait due to finishing up the school year I was able to get out and try out a new ball from Bridgestone. I have been using their e6 contact line as well as their e12's and have really like both of them. I really like that the e6's seemed to not slice as hard as some of my other balls and still give me the green side control that I need. My skill level isn't quite near good enough to say YES these are amazing and they will give me perfect shots all the time. Not a chance, bad shots are on me and my lack of a refined golf swing.

The Tour B RSX Mindset were the first premium Bridgestone ball that I have used. I played in a local school's golf tournament with a group of great guys who have varied skill levels (I was in the middle of the skills). I liked the concept of the mindset focus dot on the ball and used it off the tee-box to help me visualize where to strike the ball. When I was able to create a decent golf swing I really liked the flight path of the ball and how cut through the air. On my not so great swings it did not seem to go two counties over like I have had others do in the past. My approach shots were the same nice ball flight and was even able to get the ball to stop before running completely off the green. Nice change from before. I will not say that the ball spun back but it at least did not run off the green. Putting wise I did not line the ball any extra than the way it came as I wanted to see how the focus lines were as they came. I really liked the target it gave me to strike and the line it gives to line up the putt with. Once again my skill level of reading greens needs to improve but I was ale to hit my line and get a good read for our go to putters.

All in all I would say that I really like the Mindset aspect of the ball. There are only a couple places in the course where you can truly utilize it but for me they are two key places that major mistakes happen. I would like to see this added to more affordable balls as at 50 bucks a box they are out of my price range as I hit a few into the deeeeeep woods each round.
