Limited Edition Pink wedge from Wilson

...And the Limited Edition train keeps rolling. Today's offering comes from Wilson Staff who has created a pink...that's right, PINK version of their FG Tour TC wedge for mother's day.

 

The 60° wedge features an iridescent finish that blends a strong pink with a golden accent. As you would expect, it also features a pink Lamkin R.E.L. 3GEN grip.

 

First, yes...this limited edition thing is absolutely getting out of control. Second...it's still cool. And it's cool that Wilson is doing something for Mother's day.

 

As we've hinted it's also a great way for the manufacturers to keep their names in the news. Here we are on a Friday...a Friday when I'd probably have no reason to mention Wilson Golf...I'd actually rather be playing golf, but now I have a perfectly legitimate and interesting reason to talk about Wilson Golf.

Wilson Staff Launches Pink FG Tour TC Wedge Giveaway for Mother's Day

 

CHICAGO, May 3, 2013 – Mother's Day is coming upon us and to celebrate, Wilson Golf is offering a limited edition pink FG Tour TC Wedge to one lucky recipient via social media channels.

 

The iridescent finish on this 60 degree wedge blends a strong pink with a golden accent, providing a premium, female look. Its pink Lamkin R.E.L 3GEN grip perfectly complements the hue of the wedge head.

 

The wedge is cut to a 34.25” length and provides a lighter feel to accommodate the specifications of women's golf clubs. The wedge will be hand stamped with a specialized name or initial at Wilson Golf's Innovation Center in Chicago, Illinois, according to the winner's request.

 

This pink wedge replicates the supreme performance of the 2013 FG Tour TC Wedge, with Traction Control technology providing spin-enhancing features for all shots. The aggressive Tour-Y grooves are milled for consistency and enhance spin on full swings. The micro-spin enhancers, or sets of 11 laser-etched lines between each groove, enhance spin on partial swings.
