chemclub
Have to say that I am loving the look of the 2135 mallet series. I like the copper face and the logic behind the 21.35 mm sight line makes complete sense (as to whether it sinks more putts is up to the user). I like the Elevado most of all (images below stolen from blog). Definitely going to check these putters out. I also have to commend Cleveland for getting aggressive with their pricing (particularly with their Huntington beach collection -- $100!). I realize their pricing might be out of necessity since they aren't a marque name, but good on them for admitting that it doesn't take advanced manufacturing to mill a piece of steel. I also have to admit that I actually like Cleveland equipment (not their irons so much, but they made some great woods). Admitting my full bias, I have never really been all that impressed with any Scotty Cameron offering at the Scotty price point. My dad was a machinist and I worked with him one summer. It doesn't take expensive artistry to mill a putter from a piece of steel. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted August 17, 2016 SPY VIP Share Posted August 17, 2016 They are pretty solid putters at that price point. If the Cleveland irons are not doing it for you, check out the Srixon stuff. Really nice for the past few cycles and the new stuff looks even better. BIG STU
That line on the putter with a line on the ball may help you in your putting. Get both lines lined up with the line of the putt on the green and then you can get confident and stroke it. chemclub
PMookie, that is the story of my life with golf equipment, but this putter might just put me over the edge if I can actually test one in town. PMookie
I'd love to play in a foursome with someone that has one so I could try it for a few holes. Nappy
I got to hit a TFI Elevado a couple months ago at an outing and I can't say enough great things about it. The 2135 tech is legit and I love the look of the putter. Another great offering from Cleveland is the Huntington Beach putters. I won one at the same event and I can't believe how smooth it is. The price makes you think it might not be great putter but I can honestly say it's one of the best I've ever played.
jayjay0808
I am loving the looks of the Huntington Series. The shapes of the TFI don't really do it for me but I am sure the tech is there. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted October 22, 2016 SPY VIP Share Posted October 22, 2016 Kind of a cool grip option on these when you put the HB putters together online. Rosemark Putter Grips Going to get a closer look at these when we hit the Srixon/Cleveland HQ in a few weeks.
