Best ball striking day I’ve had in awhile. Shot 79 on a course slope rating of 73.3/132. Been putting lights out since following the teaching from Pat O’Brien. Really good day. My favorite course in North Louisiana, Black Bear in Delhi. If only it weren’t 50 min away!!!!

When you say “full club longer”, is that comparing, for instance, 30* loft to 30* loft, or just that the T200 6 iron goes further than the other 6 iron?

I think so. The quality of construction is really top notch. Normal caps I buy have thin materials in the brim, sweat band, etc. These are made of a much better quality. Thicker materials, and better for absorbing sweat/moisture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I had ordered a second Melin brand hat, and there was a mix-up. Within two days I had the correct hat, and then yesterday I received a box from them. 2 new hats, a small bag, and a hand written note from their Marketing Manager, Cameron, apologizing, and offering 2 more hats just for the mess-up. There’s a GREAT resource on SeeMore’s site where you can buy 20+ videos for $10 and the videos are done by Pat O’Brien from Ft Worth, TX. His “lessons” have helped me greatly, and he’s worth reaching-out to as well. Since I started following his lead a month ago or so my putting has been much better, leading to 4 birdies two rounds ago!!!! Well worth the $10.

Been playing Pro V1X, but bought XV to try again since it was 3-for-2, but I don’t like it as much as Pro V1X. I have a dozen Pro V1 and tried those again this past Sunday, but, again, Pro V1X is better for me. Longer off the tee, irons, and wedges, and the spin I need around the green and on approaches.

My guess is it goes back to being a “gentleman’s game”. If you look at the pics of Old Tom Morris, all the way to Bobby Jones, guys were wearing ties. Women wore dresses/skirts, or at least had their knees covered. As time went on, it got more lax, but has still tried to maintain that “gentleman’s game” dress, to a degree.

Do ball washers on the course still exist?! I haven’t bothered to pay attention since I was a kid! Wet towel, after I’m on the green, then again before I tee off on the next hole.

A former player of mine has the LT version of those irons!!!
