    OK ya'll. Can't get enough of fantasy so I think I'm gonna start up a league for the real life playoffs as well. Here's some of the basics:

    • Free on MFL, no prize besides bragging rights
    • Runs from WC through Super Bowl
      • Total points scored during those 4 weeks is the winner, no H2H
      • Stock PPR format
    • Contest Style - Start anyone you want each round but you can only start a given player once during the playoffs
      • No Draft
      • Lineups are revealed to other owners as the players games start
    • 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF + 1 Head Coach
      • HC Scores 10 for a team win, 0 for a loss, then points differential is added. For example: if your HC wins by 14, they’ll score 24 points. If they lose by 3, they’ll score -3 points.

    I’m right there with you, @ChiefMikeOfficer. I would’ve put up quite a fight this week as opposed to last, but then again, that’s why they call it fantasy 🙃

    As the old saying goes, Fantasy Football is the sport where people invest 300 hours a week for 6 months to earn their $10 buy-in back.     As a reminder, here's this seasons' $$ payouts:

    • Miss Playoffs or get eliminated in the first round: $0 
    • Make it to Round 2, Semifinals: Refund $10 entry fee
    • Finish 4th in the Super Bowl: $100
    • Finish 3rd in the Super Bowl: $150
    • Finish 2nd in the Super Bowl: $200
    • Win Super Bowl: $10 entry + MGS Golden Ticket + FF Champ Badge
      • Golden Ticket is a free selection into any of the Official MGS Tests for 2022
      • Champ can defer prize to 2nd place (or further) in lieu of $$ payout IF the recipient accepts the trade

     

    To those playing this week in the first round, you'll need to go 2-0 to advance. Good luck to all (except those I'm playing against 🙂 ).

    Hey ForeGlass and Camcmart!  If you happen to be in the Foster Park Golf Course neighborhood during the golf season, you might see me mowing greens or doing doughnuts in the rough on the zero turn!  But *not* molding C4 into the shape of squirrels nor gophers.  More's the pity.


    I’ll definitely keep an eye out, made it out to Foster a few times last season.

    • How long have you been playing golf?
      I grew up on a golf course. I have been playing since the mid 1970s.

    • What’s your handicap or normal score?
      I normally score between 80 and 85.

    • What do you love about golf?
      I love the challenge. It is great way to spend a day with old or new friends.

    • What brings you to MyGolfSpy?
      I like the testing philosophy.

    • Do you already know any other Spies?
      I am not sure that I do.

    • Where are you from?
      Born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. I grew up on Lakeside Golf Course (#15). It is closed now. 

    • What is your home course?
      Bridgewater East in Auburn, IN

    • What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?
      We have a nice variety of courses. The costs are reasonable and getting tee times usually isn't too big of a problem.

    • What do you do for a living?
      I am a digital marketing professional for a Fortune 500 company.
