I have six putters in my truck toolbox (see signature). That's  the most I have owned ever so I suppose you could call those my collection. The thing is, I love everyone of them! 😍  I'm having really good success with the Odyssey Triple Track 10 Putter and it's my temporary permanent putter for now. 😉  It's like a bunch of Beagle hounds on a good rabbit hunt.  There's always one that shines out and earns more time at the head of the pack.

I have a collection of Scotty Cameron putters and quite a few of them have never been taken out of the original packaging. Why do I collect them because I have the resources. Several of them are valued 10 times the original cost. I guess everybody has their own thing,

I have the fortunate of unfortunate pleasure of owning both. I opted for the TC201 in Miura and the MB’s in Seven Golf but I’ll add another twist, I also own an unfamiliar brand called Fujimoto which is also Japanese.
For a start, the Seven’s are superior to the Miura in every way. One can ask, are they $2000 better and the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT! The Moira’s are exceptional, they feel great, they look spectacular and everyone wants them because they are Miura.
The Seven’s are a lot softer, obviously being full MB’s. They look better, the build quality is so much better and they go far for MB’s. I’ve found them to be forgiving too despite them being blades. They’re FANTASTIC but I think they’re more for appreciation and self satisfaction than anything. It’s clubs that you can say, I own a set of Sevens!
The best of the lot are the Fujimotos. Soft, beautiful, priced right and I can only say...They’re an epic set! Hit my first gross 73 with them. One other thing, you’re likely to be alone. The quad nine wedges are even better. BUTTER all the way.
My recommendation: Buy what makes your heart happy, they all do the same thing at the end of the day. You can’t go wrong with either.

Best my swing has felt in a while, feels natural, can bring it to the course with pretty good results.
There are two key feels for me in my swing right now. In the backswing, I need to feel my arms starting and making the backswing and let the hips turn as a result of my arms moving, essentially the No Turn part of NTC. I'm not specifically working on NTC, but that no turn feel helps me quite a bit with my backswing. Second, to ensure I have the tempo that works well for me, feel like i'm paused at the top. It feels like i'm paused for a long time at the top, but there is no pause to be seen on video. I do not want to have an actual noticeable pause, i just need to feel like there is a pause to prevent my tempo from getting too quick.

A dab of super glue on the bottom of the ferrule is the easiest way to seat the pesky sliding piece of plastic.
If the ferrule is very loose and has a collar as posted earlier, try turning to get the best fit then glue.
Yes the ferrulle is typically for display but 1) if you know its there you are looking for it each time the stix is pulled from the bag.
    2) as also stated there are those that actually provide some support like the collared model.

I have the ping G410 LST: I hit it the shortest of all the clubs I tested against it, but it stays in the bag due to dispersion. I can hit a sim or epic flash 30 yards farther; but god himself doesn’t know where it’s going. 2 way misses were the norm and routinely had 4-6 penalty strokes a round from blasting balls into Narnia. My handicap is down 7 strokes since I put the ping in my bag. Game what you can keep in play, game whatever has a predictable miss. A strokes gained perspective has value, but don’t tumble too far down that rabbit hole: for me, 285 and in play beat 330 2/10 times with another 2 requiring a chip out from under trees and 6 OB bombs that had me hitting my 3rd still in the tee box.

Most of the time there’s going to be five and take between distance and dispersion when choosing a club. It comes down to how much one is willing to give up. If one driver is 5 yards shorter but the dispersion has balls staying in the fairway or barely missing while the other driver(s) have balls going into areas where a recovery shot is needed or not possible then sacrificing 5 yards isn’t that big of a deal.
I personally don’t let opinions or reviews of clubs from people justify my decision to purchase a club or not.

How much shorter in your fitting was the g425 Max compared to the others? How much better was the dispersion.
If the club helps you play better is what matters.

No, but I think I can flip two highly sought after headcovers that I bought for $30 each and nearly buy two Edel wedges

... Wedges have gotten stronger lofted and it can cause gapping issues. One of the things I love about my T100-S is the 48* "gap wedge"  🙄  which I found myself using more often than I would have thought. But it meant removing a club at the other end of my bag. So I decided to try and fill the gap created by my King MIM 45* with one wedge instead of 2 and picked up a 50* King wedge to replace my T100-S 48* and my Vokey 52* wedge. It will create an 8* gap between my 50* MIM and my 58* Mizuno T-20 but I rarely used my 52* for full shots preferring to hit partial shots with my 45* pw. I also now have Nippon 950GH shafts in all my irons.

... Oh yea, of course now that I reside in the desert the Snake Bite grooves should be ideal. 🤣

If you followed me lately you’d think I need to join Bag-Ho-Annonymous.

But that’s just on the surface. I typically use a bag until it’s worn out or at least 5 years.

The first bag I purchased was an OGIO, my dad is still using it. 5+ years

After that I got a Nike performance Hybrid 14 and replaced that when I wanted to go to less than 14-way. 5 years

    Then recently it was:
eBay OGIO - 6 months, warranty
    Callaway HL3, warranty
OGIO Fuse 4. Would have kept this but...

    #CobraConnect Speedzone Stand Bag

Decided that wasn’t ideal and have since had... 3 bags in my possession but returned them because they didn’t work with my Push Cart well or in the case of the OGIO Woode just had some odd design choices, even if I loved the top.

I’m not happily settled on the PING Traverse and will have this one until it’s worn down!

First launch monitor test with the STZ 3 wood was today and it passed with flying covers.  Was getting about 1 MPH more ball speed with better spin numbers (around 3200) than my G410 LST.   Tended to miss lower on the face with the Mizuno, but chalked that up to the hitting mat I was on.  Cannot wait to get it on the course to see how it really performs.

Disney has some great golf courses... just saying!  Let the family sleep in one day so you can do a late park arrival and go right into seeing the fireworks at night. While they sleep in or lounge around the pool when they get up you can get a round in.  They have nice rental clubs if you don't want to drag your clubs down there. That's what I did about 10 years ago and it worked out well. Just wait a day or two before you do it because the kids will get warn out. Then the sleep in approach works best.

I restarted SuperSpeed training this week as my driver speed has declined to the point of being similar to starting out the first time. I got back on it last year during our lockdown, but fell off after returning to work. Going back to being on my feet for ten hours a day just wore me out and I just stopped.
Now that I'm back to being adjusted and having the desire to hit the ball longer, I am planning to do at least six weeks in hopes of gaining 5-7 mph.
I'm off to a good start, seeing numbers that rival my speeds after the second protocol after initially doing the program a couple of years ago. I haven't gotten a starting driver speed, yet, but I would venture to say it's around 90 based on my good drives.
    Here's the numbers.

Edit: I went to the range today and got a starting driver speed. I averaged 89.8 mph with a high of 93 and a low of 87.

Certain putters fit my eye so to speak. I have certain style putters such as a TP Mills #12 or Wilson Staff 8802/MacGregor IMG that I grew up playing with. So I am attracted to those classics but also like what Bettanardi has done with face milling.

I like the new Vault/Dalehead Ping Ansers models that have been released in last few years. I have many boutique putters not well known but they are new/modified versions of past brands/models with a touch of modern(face mill patterns or inserts).

I don't know I guess collecting putters for me is like someone collecting certain art. It just fits ones eye. At least it does for me and brings back great memories from when I learned the game.

I've always understood a machined block of steel looks nice. However, I have never understood people's affection for collecting mass produced putters, most notably Scotty Camerons. I understand if someone collects one-off putters or special custom putters. However, I don't understand why people like collecting mass produced CNC machined putters. There is nothing unique about them, the premium for some of them is insane, and they really haven't changed for a few decades. I would be curious to hear why some of you collect putters like Scottys or Bettinardis. I'm legitimately trying to have some understanding.
