Happy veterans day. I thank veterans all year long, but it's nice to see others do it and go out of their way to do it.

If you vote in person thank a poll worker.
I worked the polls for the first time this past Tuesday and wow, what a long day. Onsite at 6AM and we didn’t leave until after 7PM and we couldn’t leave the polling place during the day.
Everyone I worked with was happy to be there and happy to help people and it was a great experience. I would do it again and may get a chance next month. I should be rested by them.

And youve done this without compromising the integrity of the tip? Or over cooking the adapter? Some adapters will turn brown if you heat them up too long and he had that thing cooking. Also, I've read that even if you don't visually crack or split the end, overheating can cause it to become brittle. Just curious if this has never happened

Got some better photos of a few of them outside during a quick little hit session.
Love love the look of these more than I can even begin to imagine. Also very happy after hitting off a matt that the finish is staying and not going away like crazy.

Total Lunar Eclipse morning of November 8, 2022

    That's todays edition of SpaceWeather.com
Look to the west before sunrise for a red colored Moon!  This is Lunar so reflected light that won't hurt the eyes anymore than looking at stars and planets would in the nighttime/morning sky.

Baked ziti ready for my trip. Did a top mix of provolone and mozzarella. Feeding 8 guys I made 3 lbs of pasta and a ton of sauce.

Made a steak I dried for a few days in the fridge like Alton Brown did years ago on Good Eats.  Cooked up some small potatoes and roasted them then smashed them and cranked the heat on the stove to get a crispiness. First steak photo is before I put butter on it for the rest

I did steak tacos, Mexican Street corn casserole and Mexican rice on Saturday, along with some "poor man's burnt ends".

I played in a tournament over the weekend, didn't expect much due to working a ton, and 7 weeks out from knee surgery. I hit a few with my Epic Speed with the PLB at the range, and it was either a smash, or hanging out to the right with a little block. I only trusted it to use once during the round though, and was on fire with my 300 mini driver, and hit a few around 310 with that, which has an X flex shaft. I do think just hitting the soft shaft has really helped my timing of the release.

A large part of it comes from golf being very exclusive, it only in the last X number of years is becoming a lot more accessible. It is still pretty expensive and is growing largely due to the migro courses (larger company which owns several).
The other part is Swiss people like to be very good at things. I noticed this with English where many are hesitant to speak English for fear it is not that good, when in reality it is much better than they believe.
Even where I work at the curling Hall I have several seniors who take private lessons to get better and do this several times a week. This is unheard of in Canada.
Courses often have 5 to 10 pros that work for lessons and getting times with them can be difficult.
As for the laws well I can really only speak to visas and that as I've had to go through that. The rest is pretty simple and here Cantons (states for the US) largely are independent and have their own things.
There is your swiss lesson for your Monday morning coffee!
