Welcome to Testers Wanted where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

The PuttOUT Devil Ball is unlike any other golf ball. On second thought, scratch that. It isn’t a golf ball (or at least not by traditional definition). The Devil Ball has a unique design where one side of the ball has a straight edge. PuttOUT even puts a disclaimer on the packaging: “Devil Ball has been created as a putting training aid and should not be used with any other golf club!” You’ve been warned.

The purpose of the Devil Ball is simple: to provide feedback on your putter’s face angle at impact.

Because data-driven objective testing is what we do, we need some of you to assess and report back to us at MyGolfSpy.

We are looking for 4 Testers anywhere in the world!

I was just watching Trottie from Taylor made with one of these. These look really interesting and extremely helpful. I really appreciate training aids like these, I wonder how these work with a LAB putter

I was just reading up about these yesterday, my puttout mat is arriving tomorrow so it would be really interesting to try the devil ball out along side it

And just to back up how poor my putting is, over 14 holes yesterday I took 31 putts.

2 x 1 putts

7 x 2 putts

5 x 3 putts

I will be working on this a lot over the winter

Even the name seems perfectly fitting. Putting is that part of your game that gets the least PR yet you make the most strokes per round with it. This, in conjunction with gates, could make a great putter over a Canadian winter.

I used the Puttout mirror and gates on my home putting mat and on greens weather permitting. I saw a demo of these balls when they came out and would love to get them a try in my practice sessions.

Absolutely I want to be a tester.  Really interested in this product.  I wanted to buy one but the shipping cost to Canada is more than the product itself right now.  Love how this will teach face control.  Combined with my Pressure Putt Trainer this has the potential to be extremely addictive and extremely beneficial.

I would love to give it a go. I'm a 2 handicap but putt like a 20 handicap according to ShotScope. I'm brutal from 3-10 ft (+2.92 SG for 0 hcp).

Would love to test this out. According to my 2022 Arccos stats my best make percentage is from 8-12', while my worst make percentage is 3-5'. No clue why that is, but those are the stats. I don't get nervous, or jittery at the 3-5' range, I certainly don't feel as if I'm doing anything differently from my practice strokes for that particular putt. Would really like to incorporate this into my practice routines on the at home suite.

A nice off season training test up right around the holidays! I have a Puttout which I love to despise a lot of the time. I don't know if this would help my stress levels though!

I didn't think they could make something more frustrating than the Puttout, LOL. Time to see who the real masochists of the forums are

I am very interested in trying one because they do look like they could help.  I have a LAB putter and signed up to be a tester, so we will see if I am lucky enough to try it out.
