Altering a older set of irons

Purchased a set of ping eye 2 - orange dot- 2 thru sand wedge.Put in light gram regular flex graphite shafts.Going to apply 24 grams of lead weight bars to the back cavity.

 

With the light gram shaft I'm hoping the lead I apply to the cavity makes it head heavy.Plus this should lower the ball flight since I applied to lower cavity

 

Will this make it head heavy?

Yes, it will make it head heavy.

No, it won't lower ball flight.

I have an old set and they are nice clubs, but they have very weak lofts and fly very high.
