tonyj5
This week the LPGA tour will stay in Scotland for the second consecutive week, for the playing of the Ricoh Women's British Open. Ariya Jutanugarn will be trying to defend the title she won last year in Milton Keynes, England, when she won her first Major Championship by 3 strokes over Mo Martin and Mirim Lee. Here is my preview: http://www.tonyslpgareport.com/2017/07/ricoh-womens-british-open-preview.html
kardboard.kid
So what is going on with Stacey Lewis? I haven't kept up as well as I should with the LPGA, however; I haven't heard much in regards to her. Peanut05
I've been pulling for Stacy to win something this year. A lot of people don't like her because she doesn't seem that happy on the course, but I think it's more of determination and expecting to be the best out there, and I like that quality about her. I hope she gets back to her winning ways soon. I think she got married not long ago, so that may have an effect on how she has been playing. ddryan
Although I am not a big fan of watching LPGA on TV, I will watch this one. Kingsbarns is an absolutely amazing course, at the same time stunningly beautiful and strikingly difficult. Had the opportunity to play it during a 2010 trip to watch the 2010 Open Championship (hence my avatar). I remember walking most of the holes and saying "OMG, what a gorgeous golf hole- " It is clearly a "MUST PLAY" if / when you are blessed with the opportunity. Cant wait to see some of the women using drivers on 15- while only a par 3, and playing 239 yards to the back of the green, when the wind blows (and it does, a lot) you are dead into the wind, playing across the water and rocks. It is a beautiful, terrifying golf hole!!! What's in the bag? TheWahoo
I saw the names of some American ladies currently in the top 10 with whom I am not familiar--Lindy Duncan, Jaye Marie Green, Ally McDonald. Have they been around and I just missed them. Hopefully, they will remain at the top of the leaderboard.

Peanut05
Michelle Wie started off hot this morning. I wonder if she'll be able to keep it going all weekend. So much for that. She went from the lead to 7 back. With the girls that are in front of her, it's not going to be an easy hill to climb to get back close to the top. I would love to see Lexi pull this off, though. TheWahoo
I would love to see Lexi pull this off, though. Likewise, I would love to see Lexi pull it off, but I really want her to clock 'em in the ANA next year. Ally McDonald seems to be hanging in there as well. To see a fresh American face win would be good as well. However, I really want to see Paula Creamer win some more majors. She went out of her way to personalize an autograph on a tournament flag for me to give to a friends young daughter that is a devoted fan of hers. My friend says it is now her prized procession. Paula is a very nice and considerate lady and I want her to win. I like it when good things happen to good people.
