romeopapazulu
I am looking to buy new set of irons and see that Ben Hogans clubs have a good value but I dont know if the Ft.Worth are good irons or not. Anyone has one of them and can tell me their impressions? If you do a search on the forums you will find some very in depth reviews from last summer. The made it in the bag for a couple guys and didn't for a couple others. They have a demo program for you to try them out for yourself. While the reviews were done well, to hit them yourself is the best option to decide how they will work for you. bens197
Happy to answer any questions if you want to message me privately. I’ve had mine for a year and I am very pleased. They’re a great feeling club for a great price. The common complaint is that the sole width and forgiveness for the 4,5 & 6 leaves much to be desired; the work around is purchasing the HI irons. I was able to get one of them for free under a promo and loved it so much I bought two additional irons. Plenty of topics here on these and several guys who enjoy them. Kwoodfield
They have great feel imo. I do agree the HI irons are a plus for the long irons. Glad to see they made an 18* HI I can been to 17 and replace the hybrid if i desire! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

GregB135
I'm happy with my PTx iron set and the Equalizer irons. The jury is still out on the hybrid, but it's not getting replaced just yet. ZenGolfer
Hogan irons are legit. I dont have a set but a couple years ago I was gaming their wedges and hybrid, as well as demoing their irons. The VKTR hybrid didnt work for me. I just could never develop a good feel for it. KCLeo12
I have been gaming them for about 7 months and they are fantastic. The FT Worth are more forgiving than they look. The PTX are great also. jayjay0808
I have heard nothing but great things on the "new" Ben Hogan. I have hit them a few times and do enjoy the way the sole works interacts with the turf. GregB135
Hogan just released an updated model of the PTx, now the PTx Pro. Definitely recommend their demo program if you are searching for new sticks.
