Tour Restart Date

Just a bit of a left field thought. Could the PGA Tour do a deal with one of the airlines and charter a couple (or more if needed) of planes to ferry the tour around? Lots of assumptions, that players,  caddies and tour staff are tested regularly and are effectively isolated from everyone else. I imagine the airlines have a few spare planes and crew at the moment.  Accommodation could be everyone in the same place, hire cars etc for each player/caddy.  Picture The Insert Sponsor Here Open, bought to you in conjunction with United Airlines, Hertz and Hilton Hotels

It doesn't remove the problem of no crowds, but it would be interesting to see tour players having to find their own ball if they spray it.  TV ratings would likely be huge so the sponsors would get bang for their buck.

Seating assignments and hotel accomodations according to OWGR?   Lots of possibilities.  Seeing how that unfolds will be as interesting as the play itself.  I'm also wondering if they'll stick to the currently planned June 8 date.  The schedule on the PGA website looks like some of my graded high school english class essay's - a poison pen bloodbath.

Once the tour starts back without fans for however many events, I think we are going to see some higher than normal scores. Golfers are going to lose balls with no fans to stop it / spot it in the rough. It’s going to be interesting how many tour officials they post along the course to help try and spot balls.
