Maltby MPF Scoring

Thanks @Popeye64
Pretty cool hands-on example of how MPF is a pretty good guide. The way you describe hitting the PTM is probably exactly what Maltby was hoping for.

Like I said in a previous post, I think the concept of playability diminishes the lower your handicap is.

Tiger is the GOAT, change my mind.

I think that is a big part of the reason why people can't grasp the MPF.
Too long a hosel is weight too high. Short blade length kills MOI and so on.
But seeing it visually between a high scoring club and a low club helps.
But the entire MPF is out the window for a golfer who pure strikes a club again and again.

Your last two posts about the physical science shed some really good light on the MPF ratings.  I think some people are going to naturally balk and have a fit when they see things like known GI or SGI clubs listed as something other than that and some tour level irons listed as GI irons.

i.e. the shaft ratings, what characteristics would make a shaft help correct a hook or slice?

This a valid question that I'm going to bump.
