New Setup Overhaul - 2020

Finally getting to update my golf bag for the first time in about a decade.

I was fortunate enough to play collegiate golf from '07-11.  It was in that stretch that I purchased most of the equipment I am still playing.  After college, life got in the way and I was finding myself playing less and less; about 3-4 scramble rounds per year.  This year I was able to set aside some time, or priority rather, and found myself getting to play more than I have in the past.  In doing that I decided it was time to upgrade my set.  I was having a hard time having played exclusively Titleist for my entire college career and up until now.  But I decided that I'm not getting any benefit, financially or product wise, for sticking with one company so I decided to change things up this year.  I also went and got fit for a full bag of clubs and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for new clubs.

TL;DR:  Updating my set after ~10 years.  Here is what I currently have and what is on order.

Driver:  Currently Titleist 913D3, 8.5* Diamana 72 X Flex.  On Order: TaylorMade SIM, 8* (adjusted -2*), HZDRS Black X Flex, -1/2".

Fwy: Currently Titliest 910F, 15*, Proforce V2 80g, X Flex.  On Order: TaylorMade SIM 19* (adjusted -2), Proforce V2 80g X Flex, -1/2".

Irons:  Currently Titleist 695MB.  Project X Rifle Shaft 6.0.  On Order: Mizuno MP-20 MMC 4-6, 1.0 delofted, MP-20 7-PW, 1.5 delofted, KBS C-Taper 130X, -1/2"

Wedges: Currently Vokey 52, 56, 60, wedge shafts.  On Order: Vokey SM8 50, 56 (bent to 55), 60.  50, 56 KBS C-Taper 130X, 60 KBS C-Taper Lite 110S. -1/2"

Putter:  Currently Scotty Cameron Studio Newport 1.5, 33.5", Custom Shop paint fill for alma mater.  New: Scotty Cameron Futura 5S, 34".

Believe me, as soon as everything is here I will be posting pictures.  Mizuno is backed up right now apparently.  Their site said 30 working days for custom sets.  Today is day 41.  Getting anxious!!

I love the sound of both your old and your new set, especially those Mizuno irons. Would love to see some pictures when you get everything

Old set will be for sale as soon as the new stuff gets here.  Haha Just saying.....

He  was t setup and upcoming setup you’ll have to be sure to do before and after pictures for us!

Back after a brief hiatus.  Update to the club overhaul saga.  Everything is in but my 5 wood.  Haven't had a chance to play yet, but our local men's group is having a tip-n-tuck on sunday to kick the season off.  So i'll be going into a ridiculous tournament with all new yardages and no idea what those are.  haha should be fun!
